You play mtts as well? At GG you have bounty speed racers with a 10bb starting stack and 1st level 20 minutes (so you have 20 min to double up once or twice so you can survive when the blinds go up) ... I just won 1 :f_drink:.
Anyway, they are a lot like spin n go's with the very shallow stacks ... shortstack all the way through ... buyin starts at $1.
I think you would do good in them if you crush the spin n go's like that

Managed to finish second in a 200something people MTT on KK poker last night which was a nice change of pace, since the variance has been killing my run at their SpinUps. IDK how much I'll play on the client though. I'll take a $20 crack at the $1 spins, and if I lose them I'll probably move the remainder of my money on Pokerstars. If i manage to run good, I'll try to clear as much of my bonus as I can and reassess from there.
As a whole I'm not impressed by the room. There's no way to review my hands unless I purchase their VIP program, which really bugs me.
Finally decided to move all my assets to PS after I spent 10 minutes waiting for a Spin to fire at KK Poker. Other than my cash in that MTT, the month started rather downswingy, but after the 70-ish Spin and Go things stabilized and I'm even up 6 bucks. While downswings definitely don't feel amazing it's super motivating to see how fast the BR moves upwards when you start winning on $1s compared to $0.25s.
Currently sitting comfortably at $125 and unless I experience some terrible downswings I think I should be comfortable to play $1s for a while. Next week I might find some time to take a crack at some MTTs and there are plenty of options for $1 and $2 at PS, so we'll see how that endeavor goes.

I've finally sifted through all my hand reports and I've found two major leaks IMO.
1. I tend to get sticky when I hit something, and call off bigger hands, and
2. I'm way too aggressive from the SB both 3 way and HU. I should limp more and develop limp calling range, so I'm not exploited by people who ISO too much.
I'm feeling great. I definitely spend more time reviewing sessions and found some great materials on youtube to improve my game. Sadly I've encountered a bit of a losing streak and I didn't really feel like pushing for the blue chest (needed like 40 more spins).
Oh well, next one should be much easier to attain with me playing only $1s.
I found some time to clear the terrace from my dead gardening experiments which was incredibly refreshing (I noticed there are a lot of gardeners in the forums) and have a few projects in mind for the empty pots. I'll share pictures once I have anything sprouting and growing (along with my BR hopefully ♠_biggrin:)
For today I'm sharing this beautiful bloom of my Venus Flytrap, and my Chives after the haircut I gave them last week (They grew super sporadically, but I'll divide them more equally next spring)

I've been playing around with hand reports and filters in PT4 and open source excel like programs, and it's been really fun. I created filters to be able to distinguish hands in different positions.
It's good to work on top of your game! After going gold, I do the same by watching videos and reading articles. This is very important, but it takes a lot of time that we rarely have.

I haven't written in a while, mostly bc there wasn't much to write about. ♠_zZz: I've been dealing with personal issues for a while and playing has not been a priority. For the past 10+ days I've managed to barely play like 100 spins with pretty much no actual winnings. I believe I might be able to gain some good volume in the next week though so expect some (hopefully good) updates ♠_biggrin:

I think I might be playing still to tight HU, and also I can probably throw in more isos from the BB, but overall I don't think there is that much deviation from what is expected in terms of PFR and VPIP. I watched a video about analyzing ranges with PT4 the other day and I want to give it a go, to see what's going on there.
Cev is a bit on the back side, but I think things will improve with more play. I didn't notice any huge blunders when reviewing hands, but we'll see I guess.
As a whole my winnings in the past 10 days have been literally $0. I'm even like $2 behind bc I tried couple of MTTs last weekend. Anyways I feel like this is a compound of being a bit tired and variance not really going my way, but I'll keep on grinding so I can turn this graph to point upwards.

If I'm reading this correctly, your VPIP on SB in heads-up is 66%. That is very, very low. You're folding hands that are profitable.
Additionally, your HU BB iso is very low (I see you have 26%). You're playing it very passively, and opponents find it easy to play against you; you're not raising them enough and letting them do whatever they want, at least preflop. Below I'll show you my heads-up stats for comparison.
Increase your HU SB VPIP. In €1 games, I'd play close to 100% or something very close to this number.
HU BB Iso - Especially under 10bb, you should have an iso slightly over 50%, try to add more preflop iso!

You are absolutely right and this is the area I'm currently working on improving. I've been kinda stuck on $1s, and after playing around with the hand range filters on PT4 I feel like the only position I have figured out Pre is the Button (probably bc it's easiest).
I'm currently working on improving my ranges for HU since from what I see this is where I'm leaking the most chips. Hopefully I'll be able to see an improvement soon.

Last week has been the worst run I've had so far. EV graph has been good so at least I've got this going for me ♠_biggrin:
I've decided to stop playing $1s for a while after a -27BI run for the past week. I still have a good bankroll, but wanted to alleviate some of the pressure so I went back to $0.25s. Today I had a decent run and I'm hoping this trend will continue.
I think I've been playing relatively good, and definitely improving some areas of my game. I'm lacking volume, but there's nothing we can do about it so just roll with the punches and hopefully next month will be better. I've surpassed my volume target and I believe next month I'll have a bit more time to play so there's time to see some good results.
I've set a target to study a lot more and I've been happy with my results. I'm currently watching the free videos on TBP's website and I've been messing a lot with the reporting options of PT4. My preflop game has been improving a lot, and I'm actually happy with what I'm doing (apart from the end results) I'm staying hopeful and I think the future will bring good things for me.
Targets for next Month:
400 spins
reach $110 before moving on to $1 spins again
reach my first blue chest(need 150 spins in the next 10 days) - if I don't do this, this will be my 3rd chest that I miss(last one was like only 200 points away), and I will be super pissed ♠_evil:

I'm sitting at a 1000 spin and gos behind my back which for me is a great milestone. Since I started I've been constantly trying to improve and I feel like I'm starting to see results. In terms of money I'm doing ok, but in terms of gameplay I feel really great.
I've been getting more and more comfortable with my HU game. VPIP has been increasing and I try not to overfold marginal hands postflop. I feel like I see positive results and can't wait to climb back to $1s to see how things go this time.
I've played exactly 666 $0.25 spins and 334 $1s. Average cev is 71 (93 for $0.25s and 29 for $1s). As a whole I've been running close to EV with relatively equal parts being above and below (have been running below for a while, so things should be even better theoretically)
Prizes are a bit skewed to the low side. 10x are half what they should be (and I haven't won any of them) and 4x are also a bit behind, so looking forward to winning even more money once things start being more even. Also there should be a 25x sprinkled somewhere in there really soon, so fingers crossed.

I've also played around with SwongSim yesterday(there's a video about it on PokerStrategy)x. I've ran 100000 simulations for 1000 tournaments and removed the top 3 prize multipliers, so I can have a more realistic data set. I've left the 25x bc realistically you can hit some for 1000 spins. Here's how my results compare to the output.
As you can see, things are pretty much average. I haven't experienced any huge downswings in terms of chips and ROI is close to average albeit a little below expected. This is of course including my horrendous cEV on the $1s. We'll see how the next 1000 spins go.
For the moment I'll continue with grinding the $0.25s. I still haven't recovered from my downswing at the $1s and I'm yet to reach my $110 target. Thanks everyone from spending your time here and good luck to everybody ♠_drink:
