Great results at the $0,25 tonyozhelev. What happened at $1's? What are the main differences you encountered? Was it just a matter of variance?

Here we go (again)
Last month has been full of events for me unfortunately not poker related ones. I managed to read two books(Three Body Problem and The Housemaid), played some Heroes 3, went to a few concerts (one of them abroad in Romania), watched a few movies at the cinema and even managed to catch a ballet, which for a parent is like a year worth of events to attend to ♠_biggrin:
Anyways I've had some time to play last week, but honestly I so didn't feel like grinding the spins so I thought I'd switch it up a little. I've decided to go with another variance ridden game - PLO. I watched a few hours worth of videos about starting hands and beating micro stakes so there I went. As a whole I'm really enjoying it. There are plenty of tables on PokerStars and also plenty of fish from what I see.
I played a few sessions and I think I'm sticking to playing 3 tables for now (normal not zoom) which allows me to play about 150-200hands per hour. So far I'm running decent - 12bb/100 for 800 hands and I'm happy with the results.
Ultimately the biggest realization I made the last week was that poker will definitely not going to be a top priority for me moving forward. I will try to make some time every week to play because I do enjoy the game, but I want to focus a bit on my other hobbies (mostly catch up on reading and PS5 backlog).
I plan to continue playing PLO2 for the time being. I actually might deposit more money to move to PLO5 faster, bc I think I can actually make some decent pocket money here and there on the higher spectrum of the micros but I haven't decided anything. I'll still update the blog (although probably a lot fewer updates) and honestly if I don't get super lucky I don't see how I will manage to reach my bankroll goal, but you never know, so we'll see.
Goal for next month is going to be 3000 hands which should be relatively easy to achieve. Anything more will be welcome.

p.s. For BIRJAAN's question - I think at the 0.25 there are a lot of players who will just shove on you with any 2 cards. On $1s you start seeing some decent players here and there. Ultimately I think both are pretty beatable with a good win rate if you can put in the volume. However in order to beat the variance you have to put AT LEAST 1000 spins a month IMO. The more - the better. Also one thing that kinda made me switch away from spins is that spins are short. When you find a weak player you bust him in a few hands and that's it. While on cash they tend to stay around for a few more rounds.
