So I started a new bankroll challenge ... not from $750 like I said I would, but from $600 -> $3000!

It makes it more interesting. Sometimes you can do weird things based on stacksizes, and sometimes you cannot do something because of the stacksizes

I like the way you think. When I played MTT, that's what I really liked. Even I stand for hours in front of the ICM trainer. But now I don't have time for long MTTs.

You stand behind your desk? maybe that's better ... more active ... My desk doesn't go that high :f_pleased:

I have stamina for the shorter mtts, not for the longer ones ... gotta keep your focus and stay interested!

I am trying to focus more on the $2.50 and $3.20 games, not so much the $5.40's. Until and if I have a bit more...

Made $17 the first day of the fresh challenge ... 3K here I come!

Spoiler

O yeah, still 1 $2.50 to go ... I might win this one because I've been losing!

Right now I'm down $60 from start of 2nd challenge. BR = $540. Played some speed racers and rush cash.

I transferred $55 from GGPoker to Unibet to see what it is like (no welcome bonus though). The lobby confuses me, but they have sng's, something I am missing at GG. I was planning on playing sng's and mtts on unibet as well as at GG, so I have more to choose from at any particular time when I feel like playing.
Have to "get" the Unibet lobby still though!

The unibet client design is pretty ridiculous compared to ggpoker. I played 1 sng. Players seemed pretty bad for a 4 euro sng.

This is how the table looks like:

And the pretty congratulations after you won:

... somehow, since i bought a larger monitor with a 4K resolution, all images that I post are way larger ...

Made an Excel-but-LibreOffice-sheet to track my sng's at Unibet ... I like the sng format, and I can play them inbetween Speedracers at GGPoker. In the morning and midday for me there are more $2 and $3 speedracers, in the evening not so much. So I'd like something else to prevent me from playing too much $5's. Maybe hu/5max sng's are something that suit me. I always liked the 6max sng's at Stars.

Anyway, unibet let me win the first 3 I played, so that's nice ... up 21 euro there :f_pleased:, down $74 at GG :f_zZz:

Unibet is funny. Played freeroll there. I think cashgames start from NL4. They do have interesting, quite "ugly" software (the gameplay at tables).

It's not well-designed for sure ... why not hire me? I'd do a better job! But maybe I will get used to it a bit by just playing more. That's how it goes sometimes with software.

But the good part is the average skill-level ... Not much regs here because you don't have any stats and you can change your screenname every time ... and other things ... so confusing ...

My results not too good yet, but it will come!! I am playing €4 heads-up and 5-max sit and go's:

Spoiler

Meanwhile I am still losing a lot with speedracers @ GG.

This is mainly speedracers, from the start of challenge II ... luckily I got a break from all the losing yesterday:

Spoiler

Bankroll = $420 + €55 ~= $420 + $62 ~= $482

Another break for me, got 3rd/823 in a $1.88 hyper ... not down as much anymore:

Spoiler

And the €-games:

Spoiler

Bankroll = $520 again, only down $80! :f_pleased:

I wish I could put more strategy-related things in this blog, but I wouldn't know what to say about tournaments ... So many factors in an mtt-hand, it's not as clear-cut as a rush/zoom cashgame hand.

... Now back to winning!

I needed that! It appears my harddrive with all my data from everything is broken ... very long time since I made a backup! :f_cry:

But, perhaps I should embrace it ... time for a positive change maybe ... it does feel relieving in some weird way ... maybe it's an opportunity ...

Well, luckily it wasn't my windows-drive, so I can still play poker (just lost everything poker-related probably)...

For the downswing: Playing mtts you are always in a downswing, it is the norm ... except around that one time when you bank something nice you are not in a downswing for a short time ... but after that the downswing begins again ...
It's nice to know you are supposed to be in a downswing :f_pleased:

Luna, my beloved cat, may you rest in peace ..

Luna was a troubled and trouble-cat (mentally). I got here when she was about eight, they we're not completely sure. She died sunday night when she was about 18 years old.
