Hi you all!! I'm one of those players who quit years ago and are now back to try again a bit older (and hopefully wiser..) I used to play cash micros No Limit Holdem 6max (nl2-nl10) and dreamed to be poker pro at some day. And I was grinding and studying a lot in those days and improved my game some amount. But my biggest problem was tilting and that was the monkey in my shoulders what made me stopped playing then. I think my last game was somewhere around 2013. I was mentally exhausted and it took years to even think poker and not to feel sick. And there where also some personal life and mental thing struggles during that time too. But now, over 10 years passed by, my life is good and I'm a happy family man. Dad for two little princess (2 and 4 years old) and a husband for a wife who was there when I started my original poker tilting 2011-2013 :) So what now? I wanna study and play again. And I wanna see have I been improved my mental game at all. Or am I still a spewwy tiltmonkey all over again &diams; Now my time is more limited, full daytime job, children and a own house. And I just found out that I would love to play MTT:s :facepalm: I deposit 50€ to Pokerstars before the summer (april maybe?) and started to play nl2,nl5 cash games at first. I got my bankroll to 120€ in a relatively short time (upswing I guess). Then I discovered GGpoker and deposit there another 100€ for cash games just to try the field. I played those honeymoon tasks and got a few tickets for tournaments. One of those was 50$ ticket Global millions bounty edition. I thought that why not to try it and got through day one with 125$ bounty collected. Second day was a flop and I ended up to cash "only" 91,50$ plus a few bounty. So over 200$ more to my bankroll, sweet :f_love: That was a less than a two weeks ago and since then I have been sacrificed my sleeps more than a few nights with tournaments and I can assure that body of 43 year old is not the same as 20 or 30 year old 8-o So I'm thinking that maybe I should start my learning path in SNG-tables first, win maybe one million and let go my day job, retire my wife and then go back to long MTT nights? Whadda you think? Is it a solid plan? Anyways, playing feels good and there have not been any tilting signs. So, I'm not taking cards too serious this time, playing with smile on my face and I'll stop it if it's affecting negatively my personal life at any way. same here, didn't really dare to play NLHE after depositing and deciding to move to NLHE on iPoker, yet this morning I decided to start playing NL2 there, played super well, but ran AKs into JJ preflop in a 3way pot with a person pushing KQ for 50bb. so ended the session overall in minus 60cents or something. Variance sometimes happens, no matter how good we play.

Hello!

It's been almost a week, uh.. Time goes by so fast nowadays :f_ugly:

Busy week with sleepless nights. Kids have been sick and "normal" work have been a bit more stressful than before.

Haven't play poker so much, some short session last night (rush in GG and 6max in Tiger). Both went okayish, but I needed to stop because my brains were like smashed potatoes after 30 min.

But life has been good overall :f_love: Despite a bit stress and sleepless nights the feel of living has been nice! Like some big weight has been taken away, it feels so light and more vivid. Hard to explain.. It feels good to be alive man!!

Hopefully tonight we sleep well, I want to be in shape for Friday and Saturday tables :f_cool:
