... meanwhile, not playing much, but playing my A game whenever I do, so that's nice!

nl$10 results: (or nl€8.98 because they have to show in euro's as well, country laws)

Spoiler

And the poker-related stuff I was programming was at a point where I could really start to use it, and working right, but it took too much memory, which caused it to be too slow and that broke some things in the program ...
I am going to re-code everything with speed in mind ... if that doesn't work I would probably need another language if I want to proceed with this ...

Just a few 100 hands more at nl$10 fastfold:

Spoiler

I made some mistakes in some of the last sessions.

4.5K hands ... resultswise i'd say I'm breaking even or just slightly winning at this limit. But that's just how it looks for now, not enough hands. The trend can break in 1 day.

Playing with these average stats ATM:

Again just a few 100s hands more:

Spoiler

I only manage to 2-table, or sometimes even only 1-table these fastfold tables. I used to be able to 'manage' more, but now I am kinda playing different then before ... with a different mindset... more in attack mode, more aggressive, more "grab that" - mentallity ... which is not really my nature as a human.

Playing a bit more hands as well. It feels like a ton more, but my average stats are only up by 1% or 2% from previous endeavors at $5nl.

Hopefully I get to play more hands soon, but often when I do have time I don't have a right mindset. Don't really feel like playing, maybe because I am behind the computer so often for other stuff. ...hmm maybe working out a little bit more would be a solution that fits that problem ...

This is correct, punish those nits! As in real life, most people tend to "play it safe". People get jobs they don't like, but it is safe. in poker, people play passive and "fold to wait for better spot", which never come, but it is safe.
As in real life, it is uncomfortable at first, but you have to create opportunities for yourself, noone is gonna do that for you. Results will follow, keep it up brother, your stats start to look healthy ;)
Another example is guys in bars xD Everyone goes in hoping to score hot girl, they see hot girl, but never get "aggressive", never approach, because it is not comfortable. They wait for some magic that never come... Those who go for it despite discomfort, get results ;)

Thanks for support N3bojsa!

I am playing rush, so a lot of people fold a lot yes. But the pool is very big (nl$10) and with the volume I make I don't get a lot of opponent-dependent reads, more general tendencies. The few stats you get at gg have a lot to do with how I categorize players
into average handstrength and aggressiveness. But I guess I can't get too carried away with things that would need more specific reads on the specific opponent.

But the same is true for them: they don't know me so probably still underestimate me... See you don't have to very good, you just have to be underestimated :f_biggrin:, so that you are better than they think you are.

Graph show exactly 6000 hands now. Very happy with results for now:

- I played rush10 too, you get reads one by one at a time... After a while you will have bunch of good notes, if you approach this systematically. And that time will pass anyway so it is good practice. Plus some guys will move up with you, so you will be better prepared ;)
- bold statement is true, poker is suckers game, you just have to suck less than your competition does xD then you win

Anyway, nice results, your graph looks healthy! Keep up good game brother! GL at the tables ;)

I had to cash out $275, and my current br now is only $140 :f_zZz:.

I will have to play nl5 for some time now, but maybe it's better because I am trying out things ... I wonder how I will do there after playing at nl10 for some time now. I will get through this ... just takes some more time, let's crush nl$5 fastfold!!!

The first 800 hands at nl$5 not so great:

Spoiler

I am starting to think I need to adapt more than I thought coming from the nl$10 pool ... I am not sure yet, need to play more hands. But players seems tighter and it's not as much fun because of that. Anyway, if they do have tighter ranges perhaps I should be a bit less aggressive postflop, especially turn and river. They also don't seem to let go as much :f_confused: So yeah, maybe I should steal their blinds whenever I can, but play a value-game postflop. Which again is not as much fun. But hey we'll get there!

Hello Sailor! :f_drink: What country do you think you're in??

Still struggling a little bit at nl5, but keeping my head up with mtts. Not playing much still, very little.

I have programmed something with which I can search my hh-files for preflop betting patterns. That can generate some stats, and I can calculate some preflop stuff.

Like, if I want to know how often an EP 2bet (open) from the pool is successful, I would feed the pattern: [ep_2b, mp_f, co_f, bt_f, sb_f ,bb_f], and it would generate the amount of hands this occurred. (It's 36.7% :f_biggrin:)

Really into programming now, hardly any play ...

But: the good news is, I can now create preflop pool stats from my hh-files, by searching through them with preflop player-action-patterns. These patterns can use wildcards (*), the or-sign (||), negation-sign (!), and all that!!! (nerd :f_wink:)

An example of such a pattern would be just: 'ep_2b, *', which gives me all hands that start with ep making a 2bet, and then: whatever ..., so just all hands ep opened.

I am just starting to create all the searching patterns for more stats.

The output is an html-file with the stats, have to make a whole bunch of patterns for all stats that I want, and then calculate/convert to percentages ...

Example:

Good luck you guys at the battefield! :f_thumbsup:

Finally, I have some stats about the average player in the 5nl+10nl and a bit 2nl fastfold pools. Not enough hands for the latter stats though, not so many occurences.

*Some stats might need some clarification:

- 2Bet%
Same as RFI, except there may be calls beforehand. Not counting BB's 2Bets.

- Calls 1st vs 2Bet
Must be the first caller.

- Fold% vs 3Bet (2Bet-Call) and remainder of stats
Must have 2Bet first and there may not be a 4bet between the 3bet and fold. (That's why some stats don't add up to 100%)
...Same is true for remainder of stats. Must have 3bet first and may not be a 4bet before etc,..

I'm going to continue with this and deviate between in position/out of position, as well as Hero-stats. I already have all the positional stats (each position vs each other position).
