The title of this post, Turn/river cards turn my attention, because I'm also having problems with this..
I'm not complaining losing hands, I'm not complaining that there are some players that may be friends with admins and won too many hands (because i dont think there are such people).. I'm complaining that the system is MANY HIGHER AND HIGHER RAKES AS POSSIBLE oriented.. That's why the Turn and river tactic may be the most efficiently for this..
It's quite simply if you actually think, that in the flop and preflop someone (P1) has a very good hand, someone (P2)pays him in preflop, and flop also, hoping for a luck, and then in the turn or river P2 find himself actually that everithing came into his favour, and then he is the one who raise like wild, and then the P1 (even if he thinks or realise that he might lose) to call the hand, because simply invested too much untill the river/turn.. In this way, the hand pots become huge, and the rake will be of course: huuuge..
I must admit my greatest wining are because of rivers, but also the losses ar still because of this rivers.. If u made some mathematically calculations, looking at the hands you played till now, you will find that the river pretty much turn the whoole situation in more than 50%.. The TURN turns it in about 20-30%.. The rest of it (the normally game) is only 20-30%..
I still think the Poker Star is the best poker site, but I cant stop asking , why this turn/river thing happens so often?? I agree the system is pretty fair for all, But I also think, that the system is made for changing the situation in turn and river DRAMATICALLY.. not to help one player or another, but to make the rake as higher as possible..therefore, to win more money for the site, collected from rakes..
This is my oppinion..
I repeat that I think this is the most fair site, doesn't help someone, or another, but I think the system to help themsleves, in order to make more money

Although I asked the dealer whether he has a part time job working as an algorithm at PokerStars, he assured me that he didn't.

I also have opinion about pokerstars.
It's definately the best poker client although bad beats occur. They occurs everywhere. I have been playing in pacific lately and there was god awful players who wins with trash because of turn/river. So I came back to stars and I am so happy of it.
I'm just curious: Do the company that ownes this poker site, has a legal proof of the system that they are using?? I'm also curious about the other poker sites.. When you enter and the site and register, you agree with the rules, that no one force you to enter and play this game, but you receive also the promise and the security that you play a fair and a correct game, thanks to their ultrasofisticated random cards system.. When u see this, of course you enter and you put your money into it.. But Is therre a proof, some kind of certificate of quality approved by specialists of the system that they are using??
There are too many situation that suggest the system is only created to bring their company money.. It would be a better thing to know that I play and put money into a system that is legally certified or something like this.. In this way, people will not get so angry when they lose a hand that they started and continued with 1/1milion chance to lose, and they actually lose that hand.. I would actually have a much confidence in playing this, if I would see a copy or something of that system certificate, on the first page of the site..
I like very much playing poker online, but the more I play everyday, the more I see that I win and Lose also in very weird situations...
Pokerstars deals 12 million hands a day, the average live casino deals that in 4 months. Most tables average 70 hands per hour and most people are multi tabling seeing several hundred hands per hour. Playing live you see about 20 hands per hour. Obviously when playing 10 times more hands you are going to see 10 x's as many "weird hands".
when I say ''weird hands'', I'm not reffering to a single people wining clarely.. I reffer to tha fact that 3-4 people have in the same time 80-100% to win that hand (for example, 3 people have pairs in preflop, the flop and turn come with a good card for each of them, to make 3 of a kind, and in the river, the 4th person make a straight or flush with his cards).. Well this kind of hands come pretty often.. and if you think that this kind of hands brings actually the profit of this poker sitte (I mean the Rake is the most important aspect of this site bussiness), u can't stop asking if those hands are influenced by this aspect.. By profitability.. They are not interested if u win or lose thousands of hand, they're interested to make higher rakes.. Well, if 3-4 people at one table have very good hands each one of them, they mpst probabilly put lot of money in the pot.. and therefore make huge rakes very often..

I think you may be refering to this --> http://www.pokerstars.com/poker/rng/
I have recently dealt some hands just for myself to look how it's going to be. One hand was nice 10 7 o flop comes 10 7 10 turn 7 river 10 what i am trying to say is that i dealt about 8 hands and such things happened i was amazed. So there's no surprise what happens if 8 billion is dealt.
You've been talking about rake, then could you please tell me what's the use of such "weird hands" in sng's and mtt's I play them and see a lot of bad beats there. Rake for tourneys is equal to everyone so what's the use for poker client to deal weird hands?
It's more frustrating to read all these threads about sites being rigged, hacked or whatever, then actually losing a hand... ![]()
So my advise to other "poker newbies" like me is, to just not look at these shitty threads and play as you know, read strats, watch vids, LEARN and you'll do much better...
