BB checks, Hero bets $5, BB calls $5

TURN ($16.50) T♠ J♦ K♣ 7♠

RIVER ($40.50) T♠ J♦ K♣ 7♠ 6♦

BB bets $21, Hero ?

He was a total donk with 52/13 and a high river AF but only 90 Hands. The only other hand I saw him played was when he coldcalled and BU Squeezed and he called the Squeeze and c/r allin on a dry A high flop.

I obviously intend to Vbet 3 times against this player but the question ist how to play the river after his donk?

I put him on a hand like top pair maybe rivered 2pair or set but mainly some TP type hand. I think a normal raise is too overlplayed since he might fold too many weak hands.
A call is imo too weak and a loose some Value.
I think the best line is to raise the river small so he can call a hand like KQ.

Whats your line?

I will definitely bet bigger on flop and turn, maybe $5.5 and $13.5/14 to allow you to shove more easily (since your preflop is only 3X)

I think a normal size raise to 60$ is fine, you are overestimating his ability to fold.

Assuming you are always ahead:

1) Raise to $40 ($20 more profit)
2) Raise to $60 ($40 more profit)

Your smallish raise needs to be called twice as often to be profitable which I think is not the case. Thus you should raise to 60$ IMO. He is a spewer and can easily pay you off with any top pair/two pair

i would raise so that he s left with at max 5$ ;) if he donks river, he has sth! he also wants to know what u have, so he s calling almost anything, but not necessarily AI, therefore i leave him some bb ,

edit: oh, he has more than u!, /how come? :P/ so, i am AI there for sure.. fish donk d/f rivers too often and it looks the weakest to just shove it

against such donks i bet PS Flop+Turn. If he got anything on those flops, he is calling everything.

Eazy push river. I think you miss a lot of value, if you just bet to 60$ or something like that. He can never fold a 2pair there !
