It later turns out the is a total retard who can show up with literally any two cards and will call gutshots/onepairs/air etc

I'd bet more Flop but aside from that , c/c-c/c-donkbet on a straigthy/flushy board is imo a better hand than a set ><'

Though he can also do this with 2pair + your Turnbet commits you more or less so I would call it.

i dont think that turnbet commits, but thats coz we bet so little esp on flop (quite a wet board!?) and also a bit less on turn, i deffo bet ~12$ f .. he could easily have the abs nuts here, KT if he has fishy tendencies, coz u just bet so small on flop, then on turn he already has oesd, so calles again, and river hits, so he bets. The more of a passive fish he looks to be the more i d incline tow folding, but for just above 110 BB deep and many many combos of 2p i dont think i could without a proper read.

Betting more and protecting vs calling stations is alw nice in order to have a more precise idea of their calling ranges..

I'd also bet more on the flop mainly for value. turnet is fine. vs unknown the river is very close. A good draw didn't get there or had you already on the turn. I probably call and look him up.
