Holdem Manager No-Limit Hold'em, $200.00 (HH Converter by Kreatief & Marple08)

SB: only a few hands, was pretty aggressive, seemed fishy, 1tabler

Flop + Turn is standard.

RIVER
His PSbet just looks like KJ. I thought:"ok,he looks like a fish, lets bet/fold there, because he can call some 2pairs etc." But now he makes a small rr and i have to call 39$ into a big pot. Can i just fold that if my plan was to bet/fold there, even if he makes it cheap for me ?

SB ($224.00)
BB ($201.40) _________ (Hero)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 9♣, 9♠
Hero raises to $5.00, SB calls $4.00,

Flop: T♦, 4♣, Q♥ ( $12 )
SB bets $6.00, Hero calls $6.00,

Turn: 7♠ ( $24 )
SB checks, Hero checks,

River: 9♥ ( $24 )
SB bets $24.00, Hero raises to $54.00, SB raises to $93.00, Hero calls $39.00,

I think I just call. You get 5:1, he's fishy. Though I think the chances that he has a straight is more than 5:1 but just pay for the information

puh, i dont like the play...

whats his donking flop%? .. i think more often its some kind of draw by fish agro-calling station, if he had a T he s mostly c/c and c/r or betting more with Q or at least continuing on turn.. 1/2 flop and c turn screams for some random gutshot like J8 or a 4 or underpairs or KJ ..

i d mostly r him on the flop seeing myself ahead most of the time and putting pressure, also for the metagame showing strength..

vs a semiagro calling station fish u want to be showing u re building up pots so he can pay u off bigtime later.. i dont like this small ball poker vs such fish..

if called on flop, its closer, but i d most often bet again on turn coz i want to have easy playability;build up a pressure for the match, and chances are that if he continues we can check behind blankish river and win vs his 4x -88 which believed we have AK /as they often do, btw! :P / that river if he donks pchu.. i am just calling coz even in that scenario it would also scream for a str8, but ofc he can have some 2p here and there, coz fish usually also w8 for river to cr8 action, but it would be a crying call..

as played: we are in such a guessing game coz we never defined strength of our hand before.. but still.. him betting potsize, esp if it was insta i rly put him on a str8 mostly or somehow spiked 2 pair, but there are not all that many combos without a Q which he rarely has..maybe liek ,47, or very unlikely T9 he can have, but moreimportantly, if hes just taking a stab, he almost never has anything to call the raise with,-->i rly dont think r river has too much of a merit in this case

as played:--> i am just calling river, but i dont like flop & turn play esp coz we mostly can get some value still by worse /draws and have a much easier play on river, esp in case we dont hit the 2 outer ofc :)

as you can see in my explanation, i had no stats of villain, because only a few hands were played so far. So i dont know his donkflop%.

Why do i have to raise his donk ? I think in 80% of the cases i raise donkbets. But most of the times if i have really nothing. I think my 99 can still be good here. I dont want to turn them into a bluff. If i had a hand like 67 or something like that, i agree with you and just raise his donk.

The other thing is, that it was a 6max table (forgot to mention it). I dont have to make any metagame thoughts, because usually there joins another villain after few hands and we wont play HU.

oh! 6max tab! weee, now u should have mentioned that .. that s a bit different then.. but not too much

i edited the former so much, coz was /and still am unsure if i r flop, bet turn and he still donks river if it isnt actually a fold rather than a crying call.. but anyw, thats a diff line../

now to SH: i d raise flop less often then but still see reasons for protection, 99 is often times still good here and as explained before, dont expect him to donk T, .. and expect him to donk Q bigger /maybe/.. ok, as an unknown we cannot rely on him not having Q here, but from exp i see these kind of ppl donking 1/2 a lot more with draws.

as alternative, ok, just call flop but still, bet turn in that case, putting him on a draw veeery often and we want to protect, get value, + potentially play c behind river line.. which is alw nice if he had a Q and i dont want to be guessing river if everyhing missed and he puts in some sizeable riverbet on some blank.. so i deffo want to grab the initiative at least on turn.

so yea, both r flop and betting turn might be overplayed here, but i still think just c flop and cb turn is a bit too weak vs this plr + creates a lot of bad spots for river

I don't like raise flop because we overplay our hand massively and have to bet turn very often.

I'd call flop, but I do bet on the turn to be able to take the free showdown. We call flop becasue we are ahead often enough, so we can also bet the turn for protection and for a free sd. As played I 'd call his raise because of the odds.
