Holdem Manager No-Limit Hold'em, $200.00 (HH Converter by Kreatief & Marple08)

MP3 21/18 (MP or 19%), 1.1k hands
SB 82/37, 3bet 15%, cbet 13%,AF 1.3 -->sick fish (about 60 hands)

I think preflop its ok to flat my KQs there. I have position and want the fish to join the pot. I cant fold to his min3bet.

FLOP
I hit my TP Q and after the 2 cb i go for value and protection against the fish. I think 32$ is fine here. I think you can make it even bigger, because MP3 never holds a hand there, after his check behind.

TURN
I dont really like the 2  there. Now my question is- what is my line here? I just hate my bet/fold there. What are the possibilites ?

1. I have to question myself - do i want to go broke there ? If yes, than i have to play bet/call.

2.another option is, cb turn/call non  river

3.bet/fold ?

I thought: ok, he is a fish. I want to go broke there with my TP. Now he instainstainsta mincraised. I was like WTF !?!?! - and folded...

BTN ($206.25)
SB ($241.20)
BB ($83.25)
MP3 ($222.35)
CO ($227.25) _________ (Hero)

Preflop: Hero is CO with Q♦, K♦
MP3 raises to $7.00, Hero calls $7.00, 1 folds, SB raises to $11.00, 1 folds, MP3 calls $5.00, Hero calls $5.00,

Flop: T♥, Q♥, 3♠ ( $38 )
SB checks, MP3 checks, Hero bets $32.00, SB calls $32.00, 1 folds,

Turn: 2♥ ( $102 )
SB checks, Hero bets $62.00, SB raises to $124.00, 1 folds,

I don't like the flop bet size its too big. If you want to bet so much you should be willing to bet/call the turn. If not give yourself more room to maneuver. Even though he only min3betted you, it is a 3way pot so the pot is more than 2X.

Normal headsup pot: 7+7+3 = $17
This pot: $38

There is no point betting so big since we can get all in by 3 streets. In this pot you invested 50BB and folded. If you had bet $25 on flop you could probably save another 10BB.

And I think bet/fold is still the best line. He's a passive fish and we should always aim to bet three streets for value, getting it all in if possible as long as they don't put up any resistance.

sorry, i dont agree with you.
Why should i bet smaller on that flop ? MP3 never holds a hand there. And against the fish i want to put in as much as possible. If he has something on that flop he is calling every bet. Lets say he got AK. Do you think he is c/f 32$ and c/c 25$ ? Youre right if you say, we have 3streetz to get him AI and we dont have to bet that big. But what if he got a draw, which he only c/c flop+turn and fold to a riverbet. Than we missed a lot of value if we bet only 25$ on flop, because the pot on turn will be smaller than if i bet 32$ or bigger.

On the other hand he is not passive. An AF of 1.3 on 82/37 is not low.

interesting spot..

i never put him on flush, but sth like strong made hand which once again wanted to slowplay and now doesnt wanna see 4th  coming so insta minr to get it in there.. after his c/c on flop i put him on: fd, Qx,89,AJ/but with some  most prolly/, JK, TQ, AK, KK, AA, TT, 33, QQ/improbable/, maybe sth like TJ too with J♥

the strong made hands of the range are gonna c/minr turn from him.. other c/c /also if he made flush/ .. knowing that 2  mostly didnt help his range, but is also a potential scarecard for the weaker of his hands, but he could also pick up some additional fd there and is just not going to fold mostly anything i d bet turn too here, tho sth like ~ 1/2 only (to look weaker to him).. and: 1, i d call his c/shove (since when these ppl c/shove, where raise is bigger, they usually want to create fold eq, which means they are drawing themselves.. here sth like a combodraw most prolly.. AK,AJ with A♥ mostly)but 2, still fold his c/minr /coz this is clearly stronger/

.. if river is a brick i am shoving, coz he d minr me somewhere on the flop or turn if he had it ..

overall, there are more arguments for betting turn and getting value than cb & calling river /tho obv viable option esp if he s agro enough when missed/ imo

ofc it sucks folding, but we know we are way behind here, so its a clear fold.. our equity vs his minr range there.. QK, QA, KK+, TQ, sets is terrible esp we dont have  ourselves.. we only might be ahead of sth like QJ thats like the only hand tho maybe he s c/c that one, not totally sure

--> btw: i like the big flopbet in this case coz he s a station more than anything and we are ip, so we dont have to be thinking too much abt playability on later streets, if it was oop, and the opp was more reasonable it would be a completely diff story

nice hand. flop bet size is competely fine vs this fish. On the turn you have to fold to his raise. If a somewhat passive station raises, you know what's going on.

I like b/f btw. we need to protect imo.
