I think it really doesn't matter and don't understand the competitiveness here. As an aspiring player shouldn't you be keen to learn from as many good sources as possible? Yes the 2+2 forum is bigger but the forum is not the main focus of PokserStrategy.com, not by far. I don't see the point in the sites dissing each other. It's not like you're tied to one or the other and I'm sure many people go to both sites even if they aren't posting here.

Of course the fact that so many people don't get this suggests plenty of people aren't maximising their chances to improve their games. This I like. ♠_cool:

What I cant understand is that they seem to be blaming us for the entire short stacking population online ..
They seem to think this is just a strategy to lern sss . ♠_evil: This wrecks my head, Iv never used that strategy in my life & personally dispise it & think there should be min buyin level of 60bb for every table but the poker site are to greedy to implament this as they will lose so much on rake.(but thats not my point)
I just hate that we are being blamed for this & will now be paranoid that if I mention anywhere that im a PokerStrategy player that I will be labelled as a short stacker.

How can they say that, I for one have improved in a short time & as a direct result of this site & at no cost to me like other training sites.
ISNT THAT THE WHOLE POINT OF TRAINING SITES to lern & improve as a player,how ever you manage to do that cant be a bad thing imo.
Im also a 2+2 member but could not even bring myself to post on that thread I was to mad yesterday when reading it .
Any one whould think they were all pros or something ... What a bunch of donks .

There's a quite famous training site that constantly makes fun of 2+2 tagfish. It's just normal human tribal behavior. (Anyone who has studied sociology should know what I mean by that ...)
I've made profit thanks to this site, but i've noticed my live game has improved the most since coming here, which means i barely play online anymore. Maybe there's more fishies in my local casino.

background is that 2+2 head of marketing *TT* claimed that PokerStrategy.com was some kind of black hat SEO business faking it's traffic numbers. That's obviously not the case, though 2+2 might be forgiven for not noticing that PokerStrategy.com is essentially 17 pages in one, one for each language. We could conclusively proof to them that they were plain wrong and they agreed to post the said statements.
Regarding the short stacks, being a poker player myself it's quite simple: people don't have anything against the short stacks per se they just don't like the fact that it is an easy to learn and profitable strategy. On the other, I actually am in favour of high minimum buy-in tables. However, people complaining about short stack players should be honest to themsevles and admit that they don't like them because they tend to be winning players. The same goes for "TAGs" or "nits" that are equally disregareded at 2p2.
