Actually the deductions are small and the bonuses are still very much worth it.

You effectively lose 27% of the bonus total from lost potential rakeback, but of course you're earning yet more rakeback whilst clearing the bonus.

You checked this with PokerStrategy support?

When you use FTP points in FT Store or as tournament Buy-In $0.005 x FTP is deducted from you rakeback not 27% x FTP x $0.005. Poker Strategy support told me this. I think for using bonus is same.

You are Poker Strategy moderator. Do you write on rakeback issue private or what you wrote I can read as answer from Poker Strategy?

But at Fulltilt you get the rakeback PLUS ftp points PLUS Iron Man.... Is the Pokerstars VIP system better than all these things combined?

It is not PLUS. When you use FTP and IM Medals his value is deducted from rakeback.

You only lose 27% of the value of any bonuses, medal spend etc, so effectively it is a plus imo.

Best regards,

Bart

Hi ChoChikun,

I am an ordinary member that also moderates.

All of the information regarding rakeback I extensively researched and received official confirmation from Full Tilt themselves (not PokerStrategy who just provide the rakeback pre-calculated by Full Tilt).

Full details available on the Important sticky thread:

I'm happy to answer any questions on this subject, feel free to post in the forum (ideally under the Important sticky) or PM, either is fine. Happy to answer PM's, but posts in the forum may also help others so would be preferable.

I will liaise with PokerStrategy support to ensure the correct information is provided in future, apologies for any mis-information received.

Best regards,

Bart

When you spend points $0.005 per point is deducted from your Net Earned Rake, so effectively you will lose 27% of that value in rakeback (rakeback= 27% of Net Earned Rake)
