Play hand

$500/$1000 No-Limit Hold'em (8 handed)

[tg]Position:hands/vp$ip/RaisePreflop/AF/WTS/ORL/BBvsSteal/W$SD;MP2(Hero):-/- /- /-/- /- /-/- ;BB:6/33/33/-/- /- /-/- ;[/tg]

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with J:s, J:d.
2 folds, Hero raises to $2,500.00, 4 folds, BB raises to $12,914.00, Hero calls $6,765.00(All-In).

Known players:
[tg]MP2(Hero)$9265.00:///////;BB$12914.00:///////;[/tg]

Flop: ($22679) 8:s, T:c, A:h (2 players)

Turn: ($22679) 8:c (2 players)

River: ($22679) T:s (2 players)

Final Pot: $22679.

Results follow:

Hero shows two pairs, jacks and tens(Js Jd).
BB shows two pairs, aces and tens(7c Ac).

BB wins with two pairs, aces and tens(7c Ac).

42 players,40 ITM.
The plan was raise/fold(I think I wanted to be ITM :f_biggrin: ).After seeing that the chipleader was only 30BB i decided to call and try to reach the final table.

I think shoving directly here is better because:

1.Opponents can't 3bet me and I have fold equity.
2.The fish have only 18BB and there calling a shove range i think it's very tight(JJ+,AK - AQ maybe) but if we raised 2.5BB I think we get 3bet a lot with 99+,AT+ and we loose our fold equity.

Of course I wanna get called but should we flip in this spot?

leak or standard?

you wanted to raise/fold JJ with a 9 bb stack ?( that's equity suicide

lol n1

i think this line is better shove/close ur window,eyes...

with 9BB i openshove JJ here EVERY TIME.
no way to raise/fold just because you want to get itm.
by doing those plays you cost yourself every chacne of winning.
if you raise you have to call, but i simply shove it first in.
