Hand converted with online PokerStrategy.com hand converter:

Play hand

$0.05/$0.1 No-Limit Hold'em (6 handed)

Known players:
[tg]CO$10.75:///////;BU(Hero)$11.00:///////;SB$12.43:///////;BB$10.41:///////;MP2$6.78:///////;MP3$9.48:///////;[/tg]

Preflop: Hero is BU with K:s, A:s.
2 folds, CO raises to $0.40, Hero raises to $1.20, 2 folds, CO calls $0.80.

Flop: ($2.55) Q:c, 3:d, T:d (2 players)
CO checks, Hero bets $2.02,

CO is 15/10/2 on 150 hands, fold to 3bet 4/5, call 3bet 1/5

I have a few questions about this hand
Is it okay to 3bet AK pf against him?
And also when I don't hit that flop do I have enough FE to Cbet?

Hi,

It's certainly not bad per se to 3-bet it, but you're probably better off calling preflop to keep dominated Ax hands in the pot. He'll fold them to a 3-bet and you can't really be happy going up against a 4-bet from this guy even with AKs, so i'd rather get in a pot with him in position against a wider range, it beats the hell out of almost turning AKs into a 3-bet bluff.

Postflop is always a tough situation since nits will show up with mostly AQs/99-JJ in that spot, maybe QQ+ too. On that flop they're folding 99 and might fold JJ yet they might not, all the rest is calling for sure and never folding. If you've seen him call a lower pocket pair in that spot making you think the stats just didn't converge yet, betting is okay. Otherwise i think i'd rather take my chances with a free maybe 10-outer rather than get check/shoved on on that flop. But then again i check back more flops than most players out there. If you do decide to c-bet no need to make it so big, even $1.4 will do, you're just losing more money when you get shoved on by betting $2.

Hope it helps.
