His raising range from there is going to be fairly tight. He might be on AK, but often will have QQ+ I think.

By shoving, you only get called by the QQ+ range. If he will cbet the AK, then you are better off just calling, and seeing what the turn brings.

If you know these stats about this guy while you are actually playing, then calling the 4BB preflop is probably a mistake.

And about calling preflop, I think we can't call 4bb for set value. We can only call for value and I think that's marginal against utg raise. Of course, it's pretty hard to get away from the hand with no overs....

Yea I didn't like my push (results: both folded). Calling would be better because it keeps his whole range and doesn't isolate myself against better hands. But I like calling preflop because he's likely to be bad postflop and I have position on him.

I would call the flop and hope for a turn to go broke on (lowcard) if you are not willing to play your JJ as an overpair you should probably fold pre here.
