actually if you let your anger out it isnt good.... the things that tilts me the most is life not poker, but when i m tilted in life i tilt in poker too

I'd have to agree with this.

a couple of years ago i'd prob have broken shit. Now adays i've never broken anything on the computer, tho i have throw an x-box controller a few times. Its to big of a pain to replace my mouse or keybored as i'd have to drive a good 30 min then back to get one. I've punched a chair once but i didn't break it. I tend to stay pretty calm when playing poker. tournaments stress me out more then cash games so i don't play as many of them.

a watch, a cell phone, and there are also a few holes in the door... those were real life tilts though, not poker ones. poker-wise I think I never broke anything and I'm proud of it :)

I broke my laptop back when I was in uni. I was kind of on life tilt at the time and was pissed that I had no money. I had about $100 in my stars account so nothing special and i went in two big mtts with the dreaqm of winning big. $22 and a $11. Anyway 4hours later chipleader in the $22 one and top 10 in the $11. I had already won about $120 in prize money at this point but still this was nowhere near what I wanted. Anyway I limp AA utg. 2nd guy in chips happens to be at my table and raises (and a fish) so I think perfect. Instead of repoping I just shove for 150bb because ino his calling range will be TT+. He snaps off KK and hits his king standard for me whenever I get this deep in mtts. CAn't member how I went out of that afterwards but simply tilted the rest away. In the $11 I was in the sb with A10 BTN raises i shove/steal and he snaps off wit K7 for 25bb and obviously beats me. And straight after that I fist my laptop screen and that was the end of that.

I wasn't relying on them tornies but after 4hours and building up alot of confidence and dreaming about what I could win for it all to come crashing down so quick really angered me. I rarely play mtts now. I can handle 50BI swings of hyper turbos that I currently play but one bad beat in an mtt breaks my ballz.

Because I played Counter-Strike long time ago, when mouse flew around constanlty and my CRT 15'' monitor got punched every single day, now I don't remember single case of something broken when I play poker.

Lol, I had to reply to this. When playing counter-strike I broke :

3 Headsets (When your headset stops working or mic it IS VERY ANNOYING)
1 keyboard
1 mouse
countless of smaller stuff.

Real life tilt
4 doors...
Doors are too easy to break thru :|

Poker tilt :

I honestly don't remember breaking anything. I made process since 3 years ago when I was an angry young adult.

I hit my table from time to time and text message my gf to cry about my bad beat but that's about it.
Specially when I lose all my coin flip in one day at critical moments

P.S when you feel like you are going to bust I think you really should quit your session RIGHT away to take even only a 10 minutes break, no matter what the articles are saying. Tilts fucks your head.
