I joined PokerStrategy very recently and after going through the SSS articles I finally decided to start playing NL. I ended my first session with +2$, even tho I wasn't that confident before the session. I hope hand conversion went fine, also first time doing it :).

Anyway here's a couple of hands, I didn't have any reads on the players.

hand 1: preflop is fine, ur hand is pretty strong here unlikely someone had a jack. Since u only have a pot sized stack left, just go all in here dont bet $1, as played calling his raise is correct.

hand 2: preflop raise to $0.5 since only 1 limper. With 4 player to the flop check/fold if u miss.

hand 3: looks fine

hand 4: looks fine

hand 5: preflop, dont call a raise with AQs, maybe you can call a min raise but well.. for a $0.3 raise its close if there are callers in front of you.

1) Here it is close between a check/fold and an All-In, pretty much depends on your impression from the opponents. A J is not that unlikely, so check/folding is the safest way to play it.

2) fine, but I only raise $0.50 with 1 limper. I only add additional Raisemoney when raising out of the blinds, not when raising from early Position.

3) OK

4) I would fold preflop, AQ is really not that strong of a hand, so folding is the best way to avoid trouble.
As played, with all the deadmoney in the pot and a chance that he only has TT or JJ you have to call with your pretty small stack

5) No Call please. You are OOP with a hand which is easily dominated.
Just fold the hand there. (If you have loose reads from your opponent you might reraise but calling is no option!)
