That is just so typical

Dude, we really need to work on our "running good" part of the game. It's not all about skill, you know?! :f_grin:

@nick
I started with the $50, been playing for a little more than 1,5 years and now it's around $7,5k, not including coaching profits and life-expense withdrawals... so a bit more in there aswell

@calta
What can I say... you're right :P

@pontus
Tjena, kul att du hittade hit. Jo mixed är kul, men jag vill inte spela för mycket av ett spel jag inte lagt ner tid på att lära mig än egentligen :) inga halvmesyrer här

For everyone else, actually while watching some poker vid and playing some tourney yesterday night I randomly sat down at a 7-game table to donk around a bit, and to my big surprise someone there said "hey fongie" in swedish and it turned out to be Pontus here recognizing my screenname. Made me feel like a celebrity that did :f_cool: :f_p:

OKAY the real post starts here. Posting now cause I just feel pretty good. Why? Well I dunno I just ran good today at waking up :f_biggrin: Starting off with a TT coaching is always nice, afterwards going to fencing and KICKING ASS, managing not lose a single match during practice which is very rare for me.

Now it's time for teh pokah, see if that keeps my lighthearted or not :f_eek: but before that, two stories to tell...

Subject: Dreaming

So, what happened is my gf told me what happened in the morning..
Usually I go to bed pretty late, or, atleast I wake up late in the morning while she goes up to go to school early.
A week ago or so, she told me that I had sat up in the middle of the night and asked her: "Do I look like a man who just tilted?".
... I think I was listening to Tommy Angelos pokercast at deuceplays that day.
Now... how do you look when you look like someone who just tilted? :f_p:

I've been meaning to post about that for a while but oh well, now I have double reason. Cause 2 minutes ago when I said good night to her, she asked me if I remembered what we talked about this morning. I had been up last night playing miniFTOPS #1 (didnt go well :P) and had gone to bed about 1-2 hours before this happens.

This takes place while she is sitting on the bed dressing or something and I'm half asleep, apparently looking at her as if I was awake before her talking to me but then closing my eyes during the conversation.

GF: "Max, should I go to boxing practice tonight?" (nvm why she asks this :P)
Me: "Hmm.. I think you should call"
GF "No, I asked if you think I should go to boxing practice tonight?"
Me: "No, I really think you should call"
GF: "Hey. Do you hear what I'm asking you?"
Me: "Yeah sure"
GF "Ok, should I go to boxing practice or not?"
Me: "Sorry I thought you were asking for advice"
:f_o: wtf :f_eek: :f_biggrin:
I think she's making this up :f_p: I can't remember any of it!

edit:
omg pokergods rewarded me for having a good day in general by having me run pretty hot, +$350 in 600 hands... still running semibad on nl200 but w/e, owning nl100 makes up for it ;)

HEYOOOO Been a while hasn't it, gotta revive this before it falls to the THIRD page :f_eek:

Soooo what's been happening hm...

Well, to start with real life stuff.... not much. Been fencing a lot as usual. I've finally started to run everyday, I wish I'd done that earlier... feels very good to have slept well (now going to bed at about 1am the latest), and then running before lunch. Can't beat it really, the only small problem is it makes me very tired sometimes during fencing in the evenings, but that problem will fix itself once I get better stamina.

So actually that has a lot to do with poekr aswell, since it really makes me play and focus better when, well, feeling better - duh! Resultwise it hasn't been that great though. I guess that's why I haven't been posting either, cause I don't like making losing posts :f_p: I feel there've been too many of them in this blog already!

To cut it short, I failed on NL200 a bit - well, by fail I mean quickly lost 3 stacks in spots I couldn't really do anything about it. I didn't feel comfortable staying there to recover though and just stepped back down to NL100, actually kept crushing there and was ready to hit NL200 again, but hit a bit of a downer on 100 and am just sort of trodding water at the moment, but confident that I'll be up and trying again shortly.

I went and played some HU again too, yesterday actually at ongame NL50. The play is always fun but man it's annoying to get action!! In the first place there aren't many tables going at all, and when none of the freaking regulars will play more than 10 hands with me it just gets annoying. I did get action vs a guy in the end though and played like 600 hands with him, finishing +2 stacks up. I had a pretty big edge on him and will probably play him again in the future, since he was a reg (and was actually playing other tables with other regs at the same time - bad decision :f_p: )

On a worse note, I played some miniFTOPS event and some tourneys on some sunday and it really went badly. I had one day where I played a lot of tourneys and didn't even get close to cashing in one, just everything went wrong. I should really keep out of playing MTTs they just tilt me and I'm not very good at it either :f_p: Still, it's always tempting to stick in $26 to attempt to win like $5k..

Omahahawise I've been playing on and off on plo10 rush, doing pretty well but haven't got any serious volume in yet. I probably will, it's a fun game as long as you don't lose too many 60/40s in a row ;)

Oh and... muppets are awesome

How many hands is that? Or did you hide it exactly with the purpose of not letting us know?

Don't worry man, good times will come! I know they will _cool:

Fine, it was an aprils fools thingy whatever. Not funny, I know :f_p: but I had to do something I felt!

The graph is filtered to position:big blind this month. Overall I'm up like 500+rakeback for march, doing well on nl100 but bad nl200 shot dragging down the wins - all with horribly low volume. A more thorough update will follow another day.... I think :f_p:

great read on the first hand. I have a question for u though, in a normal situation would u call a bb 3bet with a9s from the bu. Even though u will have position, thhe hand is sooo marginal that personally i like folding it or sometimes making small 4bets and then folding to a shove.
