And I am back...

BR at 1.3k

Playing NL50 again as usual :)

Received 300$ RB today and made back ca. 100$ on NL30.

Guess I don't have to play NL1k after all.

well with 1,3k BR you really shouldn't :)

BR getting close to 1.5k again.

Recovering nicely on NL50... feel like my game is spot on again. I am getting a good balance between passive and agressive play now. Passive to let my opponents bluff and aggressive to get them off hands :)

Pre-flop I feel very confident now in playing most players. I only avoid a few regs atm, unless I really want to battle. They are the only ones who adjusted to my play perfectly and if they are in position to me they make my life hard so I leave the table sometimes.

Br was at 1.6k...

Now its back down to 1.3k and I added more bad beats to my collection, plus the usual QQ into KK and AK into AA

Poker is not fun at all... I am more -EV then ever before :) weeeeee

Maybe I will go drop back down to NL30 again if this continues... this time without the help of RB.

I mean seriously how bad can you run?
No matter what I do I lose.... villain hits draws 80% of the time. I don't hit flops. I constantly face coolers or 2-outers hit vs me etc.

FML and this month:

Took a week break... come back. lose 110$ in 2 days on NL30

Poker sucks.... nothing more to it.
2-outered for 66bb (folded river)

AK into AA for 150bb (BU vs BB and BB is 53/33.. hence no bloody way I am folding)

non-sd winnings down the drain once again.... because people actually hit the turn scare card. 455board yeah call me with 7K and hit you K on the turn... always lovely.

etc. etc.

I think I'd rather do my studies then waste my time with this.
I give up... the 50/33 people have won.

Final BR at 1.1k

I will stop playing now but will leave my BR on the account, maybe will come back after a longer time.

Oh and roughly 600$ loss for the month... 450$+ below EV... uhm.. yeah... screw it.

Don't let the downswing win, man! Idiots hitting their draws just proves you're better than them, they just got luckier THAT TIME. Sometimes this crap accumulates and tilt kicks in, I know the feeling. Bad beats won't last forewer, if you managed to get this far, you sure can and will recover and enjoy the life of winning poker player :]

I don't want to at the moment.. it takes too much time.

Starting September I have 1.5 month time to come up with a new product and build a prototype and do market research etc. and I am the project leader
and thats just one course...

got a bunch of Harvard business cases in another which I goto prepare like every week.

I finally have courses which I enjoy (after 2 years of wasting time at my so called "business" university, which gave me mandatory crap classes so far), so I don't need that moody feeling of losing at poker. Rather bring my teams to achieve what they can in the real world.

You could play for fun in your free time, without the pressure of "becoming a pro". The important thing is to play less instead of quitting.

Come back to poker when you want to, not because you feel obligated to. "Becoming pro" will always be there for you, no rush. =)

I am actually going to stop playing for a longer time. Decicion was made.

I am withdrawing 1.2k$ soon to fund something I want to do.

I am liquidating my bankroll so to say. Hard decision but found something I want to spend it on, more like an investment.

I can turn 100$ into 1k$ within a shorter amount of time now so I can re-build it if I want... I will of course try to restart with 1k$ but that might take some time cause money outside of this is just different then when playing with it.

Will also focus a bit more on life games, casinos are opening soon.... so I will get a nice stream or rich tourists (chinese :) :) :) ), who have really no clue about the game. Saw it when I played with them in Macau..... either weak/passive fish or aggresion/give up to counter aggression. Their games were pretty predicatable and highly exploitable. I just need a bigger roll to support NL200++ cause I am not sure about the stakes yet.

Anyways thanks for the support. Was pretty cool building up my roll but I have decided to take it out on the 13th or so.

Hi Christian,

Just wanted to wish you well in your new ventures my friend.

Look forward to seeing you back here, or at least the occasional visit soon.

Best regards,

Bart
