Well first hand, I flat your 3bet with a good hand because your stats indicated you 3bet alot from the blinds so I was defo ahead of your range and I like to play postflop more so flat.

I flop nuts for me, I like to balance my value lines in 3bet with minraises cause many people dont raise flops enough in 3bet pots for value, most of them are weighted more towards bluffs, so I thought it would look more bluffy and you were very likely to ship every possible draw (spade, 67/78), maybe even AQ/AK with some backdoor spade or so, after your reminraise i cant go back.

Second, raising indeed is fine cause it puts up a lot of draws and so i need to guess a lot on rivers like spade, 9, J cause you might raise with hands like 9T/TJ as well. On a spade I would have folded always against an overbet, not sure about straight cards, probably not. As played you really did not have ANY value hand (maybeee Q8s but your position was bit too early for that) in your range so I pretty much snapcalled

Last, my first raise can be anything, agressive people reraise small in this spot pretty often, so soemtimes I float them after they 3bet and then I make the exact same bet on turn as a bluff and this works pretty good (especially for the price you set yourself). With AA i would have prob checked back the turn altho against certain opponents I place the same bet cause i think they will sometimes spazz out on turn again

I will give an update tonight because atm I'm very busy doing stupid things at my parents, painting and stuff, grrr :(

im interested in this and will be following the blog closely. i think i will also try to move to PS next year and start to grind out NL200 12 tables for SNE.

i'll try to suck it up for one whole year. 110k is a lot from where i come from and its definitely worth it for me. ( considering that the monthly wage is around 200-350$ )

what bankroll did you start your SNE chase? I was wondering if my bank of 15k$ would be enough

goal would be to get a winrate of 1bb/100 until i get SNE

Are u still going ahead with the challenge? or have u decided to climb the limits instead?

@dwyt84: 12 tables is impossible esp if its fullring. 24 tabling requires about 8h/day on average

i think it is if i play 12 hours 7 days a week, not really sure. i might make it to 16 tables...

i'll try to compute it all by december so that i can start by january. i'm really interested how OP's prgoress will be in the upcoming months. would like to wish you luck!!

Well in theory I'm not going on with the challenge.

The whole point of this is just that I want to increase my volume/time spent on poker by increasing overall time management. That is my main goal. I'm still wasting too much time on all sorts of stuff that don't need all that attention.

And IF I can do this this, I will be able to play a lot -> rake a lot -> get lots of VPP -> SNE. So lets say it is not a motivation for me to reach it. I want to spend more time playing efficiently and if I get on pace for SNE I might try to see it as a goal by the end of the year. So right now I just gonna climb limits, try some new stuff but still getting some nice volume in. If I then have like 400k-500k points by the end of August-September, I might see SNE more as a goal but right now it really isnt.

Last days I'm playing hyperturbo sngs and I really enjoy playing them. I always wanted to be a allround poker player like for example Phil Ivey. Playing tournaments is also something I really enjoy doing and I realised my postflop skills increased dramatically in the last months. But I still lack some decent/excellent ICM knowledge so I wanna increase that with those hyperturbo thingies. I also purchased SNG Wizard to fasten the process. At last, they rake pretty good as well.

Ofc I still keep playing cashgames cause I just enjoy it way too much.

That it for today, just busted out of my last 3 tourneys, I went deep in all (like top 100) and then suddenly busted out of all of them which sucked pretty hard but yeah /care.

Goodnight!

Tomorrow back to painting walls, aaaargh..

Just did some funny thing. I really wanted to have some multi-tabling FR afternoon. But after logging on to Stars there were hardly any NL200+ tables running (read: free seats), so I started to take some NL100 ones as well . So had around 50% normal NL100 tables, 25% deep nl100 tables and 25%NL200. Really didnt played that limit for 4 months now I think. People were so bad and predictable, it was funny. I'm up like 10 stacks in one session (3h/4k h) I think.

Not gonna play there more because it might hurt my thinking process cause everything will be simplified too much but I really had some fun during this session :f_cool:.

Right now, gonna prepare for SCOOP and miniFTOPS and play some hyperturbos I guess
