Sure, go ahead and post your thought processes. I just started tho but I already watched like 20 vids about it and I'm really starting to analyse as much as i can so hopefully we could get some interesting discussions going on

Just back from a nice family dinner. Wanted to start some tables now because I heard it was pretty fishy :). Got pretty quick action from a whale on plo200. Unfortunately he was Jesus himself and lost a lot, over €2k in less than an hour. I also played pretty bad towards the end and I think I quitted way too late so let this be a lesson. Probably a stop-loss of max 5buy in is mandatory. Problem on entraction is that you can buy in for 200bb deep so thats what I did ofc everytime he stacked me.
Back to PLO100 now with 7 BI ♦. First shot back at 2k but then WITH the stoploss of 2BI.
I realise again that PLO HU is probably 90% mindset, momentum, observing and 10% knowledge, strategy.

I'm already watching Eightfold Path to PE again and taking some notes :f_p:. Soon I'll have a pro mindset. I also bought a buddhism book 6 months ago and didnt touch it yet. Maybe I should read it as well 
Didn't play too much last days. Lots of family parties and the spare time I had I watched some videos and played unreal tournament.
I ofc still did play some PLO HU on my almost-broke site. Swong down to 3 BI and now back at 9-10 while playing a less high variance style.
Yesterday I also was thinking about how to improve my mindset. I have watched all Tommy Angelo's vids again which are always very helpful + I started to take a close look at buddhist teachings about meditation. Atm I'm listening to an audio book about mindfulness: 'Wherever you go, there you are'. Seems pretty okay up to this points and I certainly will try to work on this.
Any other suggestions are always welcome ofc :f_love:. I just feel I need to have the most sickest mindset in order to crush HU PLO.
Today played 2 hours or so I played A+ game all the time, except for one hand that I think I misplayed a bit.

Last days have been good :). I played a lot of agame again and for the moment that is my only concern. I only play plo100, only play opponents where I think I have a good edge on etc. Ofc in the future this will change but I first need to make sure that I can play agame as much as possible against the weaker players before I start to combat better ones to improve my game.

My flopbet could probably be a bit bigger but not so much cause this is a spot where I prefer betting bare aces as well, so for balancing sake a smaller bet is better I think. Also for my strong made hands (like this one) there arent many bad turn cards, except for a K/7. I dont like his turn donkbet at all because he will have QJ a high % of the time. But nothing that I can do.

I think I have to call the turn because I get so good odds and he has 95%+ of the time J8 here. Even against this hand I have to call. I have 27% EQ with that. However the river is a clear check against him.
3 reasons which lean towards a check:
- he is a station
- small betsize left
- 9 is worse card then a 3 because it elimanates 99 largely from my range.
I do think if these 3 things were more in my favour it is a good spot to bluff because my turncall range there is pretty narrow and mostly is set/2-3-4 pair (with fd) and some KQJ. So a paired river is one of the most scary things he could see.
In this spot it is almost always a bad bet.

Mostly he checked the flop as IR, also in 3bet pot. Last time he cbet 1/2 pot as well and I raised to 31 and he folded. So I tried to let him bluffshove some Qxxx or weakish draws by taking the same line. Normally I just call F and wait for a blank turn to push over his 2nd barrel.
Turn is a push I think cause 98 just isnt too likely since that would be a pretty terrible call if he has nothing to go with it. Mostly it will be KJ/clubs+pair etc.

Again I'm pretty happy with the way I played. Did make some (costly) mistakes but not because of tilt of some sort. I'll post more hands here cause I feel that it forces me (in a healthy way) to analyse some hands, which is still the most important thing of improving. Confidence level for 2011 is pretty high. If I get my mindset completely straight I can crush this game pretty hard.

No time for poker last 2 days+tomorrow. Big 2010 post +2011 preview in a few days :), probablt in the new blog
So this will be my last post in this blog.
2010 was a nice year with ups and downs but overall I'm pretty happy about it since I managed to succesfully maintain myself as a professional poker player. At the end of 2009 I took my first shots on NL200 and managed to get a good winrate there. In 2010 I managed to keep a good steady profit at 200 and confidently beat NL400 over a large sample as well. I'm not super satisfied ofc cause I didn't improve too much. I got from NL200 to NL400 in one year which is really slow. I did make some nice amount of money in the process but I believe that my limits lie waaay higher. So this is what I want to change in 2011.
As you may all know or heard: I'm moving to Philippines in about 2 weeks, living with 5 fellow pokerstrategists.
