I know many of you don't like Tom Dwan but I think he's really great player. Just watch Aussie Million Cash Game 2009 Tom Dwan vs Patrik Antonius HU Game. This guy has the patience and discipline. I mean I can't really fold the hands he folded. Can you?

First 2 hands, wow.. really great laydown, i would have busted there.

Third hand, meh.. not to impressive..

Although you have to keep 2 things in mind:

1 Durrr know how Antonius plays, they have played thousands of hands against each other.

2 The first 2 were Omaha so it's alot more likely Antonius would have him beat.. if those hands were hold'em i don't believe he could have layed them down.

Did you watch all 4 parts ?

Very useful thread for me. Many things that have been said are so true for me in like the past 2 weeks. Sometimes I really had the feeling that they were conspiring against me, each of them 3betting my raises one at a time. That at one point I just break and shove and, TADAAA, find their AA/KK/QQ glaring at me.

Boy, I couldn't have felt more stupid. Their evil scheme worked against me :)

BTW, Quote of this thread imo :)

Agreed on the quote of the thread!

Yeess.. it's sure an awful feeling when everyone on every table start conspiring against you. They do it to me aswell :(

If you are playing multi tables and one player constantly 3betting you on one table, don't let your game to change on other tables.. I've noticed that I became a 3bet 4 bet monkey on other tables out of frustration when it was obvious that players on other tables were not that 3betting loosish. I 4 bet and they shove with nuts (AK QQ AA KK)vs. my TT JJ. The moment you notice such tendency, cut down the number of tables you're playing. Unless you need to stay at the table for some other reason, start decreasing the number of tables with the 3bet monkey table as, fighting back vs. light 3bettors only increases the variance.
