Yesssssssss, i cb turn but... i bet smaller on the flop, there is no need to build the pot there. Bet 38k, your hand isnt strong enough to play monster pot and you want to have cheap bluffs... On the turn i cb because you have good SD value (not great) and you can improve to wheel, trips, two pair are good too probably. Bet/fold turn is so bad, if i bet there (but i dont ;)) i propably call. Yes, call is better, you have good odds, maybe the best hand here (there is a chance :P) - if not, a couple of outs to improve.

But if you check the turn and dont improve i like call river without spade. The pot isnt big because of you small cbet and cb turn...

So these are my thoughts...

yea agree 100%.
that was so bad turn play i must check behind in that spot, couse he have super good stack to shove over me (imo never with a bluf or pure draw there and i got to call shove just for pot odds couse whatever he got i can improve to nuts with any 3 and maybe 6 or 5 are good to win too)
i thought for check on turn(that should be standard play) but mine thoughts were that if he have Ax hand or some flush draw (which i think that he will c/r on flop) with over cards i dont want to give him free card and i was planing to ch river..

btw he was thinking pre, on flop and on turn and when i bet tun he insta-shoves. i take mine time and finaly fold (i suck X( ) i ask him did he have set or good old a3 and that i fold JJ and he told me that he had AA (gg me, gf..) but never mind that i got to call there just for pot odds when i make such dumb play and bet turn i got to go with mine hand....i'm so bad :f_cry:

and actally, if mine calc are right, I dont have good pot eq vs his range to call here, i have like 20-22% with mine hand and i need 26,4% min to call.

any1 can calculate this, and check if im right??

you are right with your odds if you never give hime a draw or bluff, I put you on about 20% equity vs a range that makes sense

again a good player u cant bet the flop ... he never will give u a hand

He wont fold any PP on this flop ... eveen Ak or AQ he will call because of overcards and gutshot
at all i think he will fold just a few hand of his range

if he is weak tight ... i whould fold to an bet on the turn and bet if he checked
just to get the pot

i dont get what r u trying to say, maybe u misread the hand

i open raise in CO, SB calls,
flop cames 5s4h2c SB checks I C bet 2/3 pot (i Cbet here any PP; made str8; set; flush draw; str8 draw; any other combo -pair +str8 draw; pair +flush draw; any pair, over cards),
turn Td SB check I bet SB shoves... Thoughts should i check behind?

no, i dont missreads the hand ... this time *g*

so again in better english .. i hope

"against a good player u should not bet the flop ... he won't be giving you enough credit

He wont fold any PP on this flop ... even AK or AQ wont fold because of overcards and a gutshot
. i think overall he will fold just a few hand of his range

if he is weak tight ... i would fold to a bet on the turn and bet if he checked, just to pick up the pot"

hope now u understand, what I want to say
if not .. just ask agaian and try to explain in an other way

its all about the fact ... the flop is better for a calling range, then for a raising range

Board: 5s 4h 2s
Player 1: 44,641% 22+, A7s+, K9s+, QTs+, T9s, 98s, 87s, ATo+, KTo+, QJo
Player 2: 55,359% TT-22, JTs, T9s, 98s, 87s, 76s, 65s

yea i agree that he wont fold many of his made hands on this flop PP or as u say Ax+

but dont u agree that
#1
u almost always bet on this flop with AJ+, 22+, flush draw basically all made hand and all good draws so u got to include some pure air bluff here too
#2
we floped top pair + gutshot/2 pair/trips draw and i think we must bet in this spot on flop for value and for protection vs hand that have 6 outs vs us and that will fold on this flop -> something like TJ, 98, KQ maybe even A8

to #1

I whould bet a set, maybe Ax with FD
but a overpair I whould checkbehind for potcontrol ... if I bet and he dont folds ... its everytime a tough spot with hands like 77
a flushdraw I whould not bet, because if I bet he can push it ... then I have a close call or fold
so if u bet, he gets a very good spot to bluff

on turn
if he checked 2. time I can bet with FD, becuase he wont c/push it
if he fold its nice, if not i have my outs
if he bet an turn, I can push it for bluff (maybe with an A, K or Q on board)

to #2
for value ?
what weaker hands he should call on flop ?
there are just less 6outer in a calling range

agaian a fish u maybe cann bet/fold the flop ... becuase of FE and a bit for value
but again a good player .. I whould cb it for sure

I would cbet this flop and probably barrell the turn once he checks again, but I keep the bets smaller, around half the pot. imo checking behind on the turn invites him to bet the river whatever hits then you have to decide whether to call down with 2nd or 3rd pair.
Once he shoves i think its a fairly straightforward fold, you are beat.

hard to talk about style in general, but I try ^^

I play passiv with TP, weak 2pair, monster on dry boards, draws in multiway pots

I most times play aggressiv with monster on drawy board, sets and for bluff

its an mtt
we have to save our stack and we have a bubblefaktor everytime
so I think its not best to play max value
but y, at all I play very showdown bounced ... maybe to much, I am not sure
