too bad was playing SSS, but was a really weird hand with people raising and reraising when I had the top 2 pairs.

I think MP2 had KQ, CO 88, and MP3 maybe J9.
Sometimes happens that in very rare cases (some times ago 4 people called my all-in preflop (AK) and I managed to win 4,5 x buy in pair of aces with K kicker:P)

You should bet pot against 6 players or play check/raise ( with 7 people seeing the flop its safe to assume at least one will bet) imo. Many cards might possibly harm you against this many players so you need to drive them out.
Their actions in turn/river where they bet/call ridiculously small amounts in comparison to the pot shows that they are kinda fishes.

yeah, you are right. I was first in action, so didn't really even notice that there were actually 2 possible OESD there, just saw the top 2 pairs and no flushdraws

was beginners table btw. REALLY different than normal NL50 tables (people play with bigger stacks and much more lose)

That's a good point, the bet is way too small against that many people, your hand is very vulnerable and you don't want a multiway pot here!
I would normally go with the Checkraise here because especially on the beginners tables people can't stand to just check around. If you bet 3$ and get called by 4 people you have an ugly spot with many turncards, so you want to get all your money in on the flop with your hand.
