It is down to 4-handed at the Fixed Limit shootout final table now. Jonathan Little is now second in chips with 900k chips. the chip leader has 1.45 million chips.

eleph is also still in the $10k PLO. He has almost 120k chips now and blinds are 1.5k/3k. Around 70 players left.

I saw him won a nice pot when he flopped trips. With the board showing 9:h T:h T J:s, eleph checks, villain bets and eleph calls. River 2:s, eleph checks, and villain gives up and checks behind. eleph had A:d T:d Q x and took the pot.

So no info on event #54? There is a Bulgarian PokerStrategists and we are all curious how he is doing... His name is Dimitar Mogilarov / dimitar80 - could you by any chance see how he is doing and if he is still in?

As i've already posted many times, its impossible for me to find anyone by name on Day 1. Will try to track him down if he gets into Day 2. You can check the WSOP site for info on the end of day chip counts.

Allanon was involved in a hand with winkiac. The flop was J:c 6:h 6:d, Allanon checked, BB checked, winkiac bets 650, Allanon calls and BB folds.

Turn 4:d, Allanon checks, Winkiac makes it 1,150, Allanon calls.

River 8:s, both check and Winkiac turns over TT to take the pot.

In the next hand, a player two seats to Allanon's left, made a suckout to double up. MP3 raised, Allanon called from the BU, BB goes all-in, MP3 goes all-in and Allanon folds. A:c J:d vs A:s Q:s, but the board ran out 2:c 3:c K:c 7:d 7:c to double BB up.

According to the entrants list at WSOP.com here, he played on Day 1A.

I don't see his name on the Day 2 list, here, so i guess he must be busto on Day 1

Jonathan Little just busted out of the $1.5k Limit Hold'em shootout not too long ago. he finished third and won $73,218.

eleph is still in the $10k PLO and still has around 120k chips since the last update.

Apparently the two guys who are currently playing heads-up now in the $1.5k shootout are room-mates. And they also both cracked Jonathan's pocket aces. The strangest part was, they both did it with the same hand, J 8

I losted a 100bb flip and busted in 2,5k.

QQ vs AK guys who just wanted to hit me 3b my utg raise from mp and after my 4b he shove for 50bbs...gg sir.

Thorsten77 busted out of the $2.5k NL Hold'em. He was moved to a new table and busted in the second hand he played there. AK vs QQ. "When i was short stacks, i get it in and i double up. But when i'm 1.5x the average, i get it in one time and i'm out"

Allanon also lost a hand again a shortie. The shortie shoved the BU with 3,600 chips, and Allanon called from the big blind. KQ vs A:h 2:h. The board came Q 9 5 2 2.

The blinds are now up to 200/400 and here are the chip counts of the remaining players. I still can't find innerpsycho after they broke his table.

Just 47 left in the $10k PLO event, Tom Dwan looks like he is in the chip lead. Out guy there eleph has 90k chips and and is one of the short stacks. Blinds are now 2,500/5,000

Allanon just doubled as i wa leaving the pavilion to come make this update. AQs vs 99, the flop came K Q J, a really good flop for Allanon and he is up to 60 big blinds now.

grezstar made a 4-bet from the big blinds with 3:d 8:d and won the hand on the turn. EP raised to 900 (blinds 200/400), MP made it 2,500 and he made it 5,600 from the BB, EP folded and MP called.

Flop came A 3 4 with 1 diamond. He conti-bet 3.5k and villain called. Turn 2:d, he shipped it and villain open mucks TT.

There are now 650 players left in the event and blinds are 300/600 with 75 ante. This is the last level of the day.

eleph is still grinding it out in the $10k PLO. He is down to around 60k chips, or just 10BB at the current 3k/6k level. Just 41 players left, 5 eliminations from the money, with one level left to play.

Final update of the day:

eleph made it into the money in the $10k PLO event, but was the first person to bust after the money bubble broke. He was quite short by then, and finished 36th to earn $19,839. durrrr is the current chip leader and has over 900k chips, second place has only 570k.

Five PokerStrategists made it into Day 2 of the $2.5k NL Hold'em event.

Hey guys, just a quick update from the WSOP.

winkiac is currently in 7th place out of the 73 remaining in the $2.5k NL Hold'em event. cYde and Grezstar both cashed in 94th and 105th place. They earned $6,785 and $6,071 respectively. overbe busted out of the money.

In the $1k NL Hold'em event, no more PokerStrategists remain. LederJoe however did manage to get into the money before busting out. He finished in 375th place and earned $1,868

I will be missing the first few levels of the $2.5k event, but will be back at the Rio at around 5pm PST (2am CET) to give you updates on winkiac's progress in the $2.5k NL Hold'em event.
