* There was a really low limit to the number of stats you could configure on the hud.
The deal-breaker right now is lack of tabbed pop-up because I really don't think there is a way to organize all that information.
Villan session stats is cool, but I think a better "toggle" would be to be able to filter out observed hands instead.
After being HEM exclusive for longer than I can remember now... I thought I better download PT3 and see what all the updates have done to their software....
And PT3 is looking rather nice now... The HUD is annoying me a little, but it could just be teething problems. Although since I started using the PT3 trial I see what you mean it does look pretty. However, I don't like the fact you can't actually fully explore the software in the trial.
There is a lot of options I'd like to explore before I commit to buying the software. The other thing I don't like is you can't configure what stats it shows you on the general tab like you can on HEM.
All that being said, I am going to use the trial for the 60 day period, as I think this software has improved immensely since I used it last.
Also @ tokyoaces:
I see what you mean about the pop up menu, but you don't get a tabbed view because if you click on different stats on your HUD of the player you are looking for info on, you get different popups depending which stats you choose.
Example: You click on VPIP... You would get all the information on VPIP PFR 3- betting etc. You click on Fold to steal, you would see all info on stealing their ATS when they fold how often they resteal.
The customization is also very easy (IMO, but I know this software inside out) and you can add as many stats as you like to the HUD (if you want a hand I'll help you on Sykpe or something) I've actually had over 30 stats on it to see how it would run. You can also colour code each stat AND you can colour code ranges as well.
For example: Lets take VPIP as it's usually the first on everyones HUD.
Say villians VPIP is below 10 I have this labeled as red
VPIP between 10.1 > 20 I have a beige colour
VPIP between 20.1 > 25 I have as green
VPIP over 25.1 > I have these as fuscia so they stand out the most.
I guess the longer you play with software the more comfy you become so the more you explore.
Does anyone use PT3 for tourney and SnG tracking, I remember they had awful issues with this when PT3 was released? Are they fixed?
I'll pop back when I've explored the limited options they give in the trial... But I do think it is nicer looking.... And my deal breaker is I would have to pay for software that won't show me what it can actually do?! How can I know how slow or fast it will run if I can't run everything?
