DTD was alright. Busted outta the tourny in 15th. Final hand I shoved AJ in2 KQ and lost to a Queen on the river. I was a shame because if I won that pot I think I would of really had a good shot at winning.

Here's link of my finish.

I went in the cash games and lost a stack within a couple of hands. Problem with the table was it was costing nearly 10-20bb to see a flop. I left the table and rejoined a nice passive preflop table wher players really played postflop poorly. Anyway finished 3 stacks up after 3hours of playing and left with a reasonable amount of profit.

Playing the sunday million again tonight.. hopefully that goes well.

hi richard and gl with sunday million :)
i was wondering is u are doing sweat session?

hey,
nice blog!

i played a bit of hyper turbos too on stars , mostly $22.44, and since you play on full tilt as well, which ones do you think are easier to beat??

Between poker grinding, gym, and world cup. I dont find myself with alot of time to sweat people anymore. But I hope to again soon when I have time.

I only play 6 mans, but all the others HU,9man and 45mans are more than beatable imo. Just find a game you feel comfortable with.

Had the worst week of poker ever. Took a shot at 20s which I lost $400. Sick thing is I find the players at 20s much worst than 10s. But I guess this is vaiance biting me in the ass for last weeks good run.

I intend to play 20s again but when I have more confidence dropping 20buy ins aint fun. I should really blog when I am losing but I just lose motivation and would rather just grind myself outta it.

hey...i was just wondering

did you train for the superturbos using icmtrainer from pokerstrategy?

if yes..then what percentage would you get after 200-300 hands

i got 95% today and was wondering if its enough to play the hyperturbos

haha havn't checked this blog in time. cheers for birthday wishes

and cake :P

I moved site recently and played superturboes there. and running at a 13% roi over a 1.5k sample. Don't really want to share the site at this current time because the fulltilt games regged up and I dont want the games I am in atm doing the same too soon.

Went to DTD poker casino for my birthday and did well there. Crushed cash games for a further 400£ 1-2 game.

Currently just enjoying the summer atm. Chilling with m8s playing golf and going gym alot. Grind about 4hours a night. But in no financial rush, start university in the beginning of September. Also playing alot of live games. Booked in a lot of juicy local games atm that just make your jaw drop.

Also looking to transition in2 NLSH. Probs going to start at nl50 or something and work from their. not sure though I hear starting too low can make you too rigid in moving up. Might just start at nl100-200 and learn on my feet. Pretty much how most of my poker career has gone. Starting in the deepend

@Leito99, used icm trainer about 2 years ago for normal 9 man sngs. Just remembered abit of that and made my own ranges which I thought were profitable...

So hung up the boots on my fulltilt account for now this is it overall after the last 4months playing on it.

hopefully ill be a crushing nlsh reg haha... guna read sumshiz. But mainly try and create my own game.

o yer and this is why I thought a change of site might give me more motivation

Ok so it has been awhile since I updated. But instead of keeping quiet because of a downswing, it is infact the opposite. I have been winning but spending most my time learning privately on my game.

I am now grinding 30-120$ super turbos below is this months graph. I started the month grinding 12-25$. But with rapid increase in my bankroll I quickly moved up limits.

Rather than be a one trick pony I have been trying out different forms of PLO on both the sites I play. Below are my results

Ok in b4 cool sample size bro. I am probably a fish in these games but I am just using them to learn. The fact I am running hot is just a bonus. I was prepared to lose for my lessons. My approach has just been to play and play till I figure out my own game. I have obviously read literature on the basics and watched some videos. But I find the best learning is done at the tables.

I will try to put more volume in to PLO eventually but the super turboes are just easy money for me at the moment. And hope fully they will give me the roll to play at pretty descent stakes at PLO like 200/400 soon. But I start uni again in 2 weeks so the getting time to grind like I normally do maybe hard.

peace out I will keep with regular updates if people are still interested in this blog

But isn't it frustrating how he never gives any clue as to his secret strategy. Can't really blame him though. Maybe PS could hire him to make a video! I hope he's starting at my university! :f_biggrin:

Lol secret strategy. Seriously just ICM. Exploiting regs is probably what gives me the highish ROI. But tbh 3k is a small sample and I maybe running a little over EV in the higher buy ins. But I do see the players at the higher buy ins easier than the lower ones. Just in general aweful players with the odd one or two regs. I see more grinders at 12-25 $ games than I do at $50+.

I also forgot to mention I play 1500 chip sngs now as well as 300 chip. Both have fast blind structures.

As for making a video.... I seriously suck at explaining my thought process and would probably come across as abit of a donk at some of the stuff I do.
