thanks for the advice buddy, but i built my $20k br playing non-shortstacking. Does that mean I have to start from 1c/2c?

Obv not.

Yet there exists strong evidence that you cannot start at NL200 either.

There's a ton of limits between NL200 and NL2 but it certainly would not hurt you to play NL2 and move rapidly up. If you can't play NL2 until you win a few SS buyins and then move up when you won 5-10BI at each level then you have a major poker leak: pride.

I had a 200 BI downswing, below EV of course. Sth like 100 BI down when ii had to be like 100 BI up. Variance is incredibly much bigger than you can even imagine. In 100k hands

Just pray

If you can't imagine it, just graph it:

Enter your winrate in $/100 hands and your SD in $/100 hands and then click go. Every line you see is a statistical possibility based on that winrate and generally its pretty ugly.

If you just want to see some generic results enter 1 for winrate and 21 for SD and click go.

PT3: Cash->Sessions -> Sessions - Details and its under Details - Details:
Standard Deviation / 100 Hands.

I don't know how to get it with any other software.

I think 50to100 buyin swings can happen ....
but very rarely.
