A few days ago I was looking at how soft the 110s were, so i decided to jump right in. I have about 150BIs so im not really taking a shot. just a bit looser with my BRM than usual.

Running pretty good so far this month, already played 500 games, top 5 on the TLB is attainable. Running at about 10% so far. im a very happy camper...

Its SO hard not to look at results. Im doing pretty good not looking at them during sessions, but i usually have to peek at the end of the day.

Going to spend tomorrow morning catching up on some reviewing, dont want to get burned out and dont want my game to start slipping.

biggest downer of my career today. dropped about 2k in 9hrs.

getting absolutely crushed... nothing seems to be going my way the last few days.

still above ev for the month so i cant complain too much. I dont think my game is off or anything, I actually feel like im playing really well just getting crushed by everything....

My real roi on these stakes is obviously lower than the mid-stakes with all the good regs around. So I can expect to have a few big downers.

Just gotta grind through it. There is always a way out of the hole and always more downers to come in the future. Going to have to get used to dropping this much cash if I want to stay up here with the big boys.

Hi there.

I have just stumbled across your SNG Blog. After reading your blog and a few others I have felt inspired to singup and start my own blog as i grind 45-man SNGS to get a starting bankroll to move up to higher stakes.

In the next few hours/day I will be writing out a bit more about myself including goals and training plan within my own Poker Blog topic. I will post the link here as I would appreciate your feedback as i start/continue my own journey.

Its cool to see how you've applied some mathematical, graphing and statistical concepts and techniques to your poker, no doubt taught in your finance/accounting degree. Myself, I am also from Australia and studying at university - accounting and international business degrees however.

Look forward to discussing strategy with you in the future.

EDIT: sorry to hear about the downswing you copped today, one for the record books hey :f_cool:

Its quite easy to ignore the results on Full Tilt, just don't click on the Cashier button :)
I try to force myself to look on the BR only once a week (on Sundays), it really helps me to do my best at the tables. If you have a good bankroll management you really don't need to check your results often.

The 110s: do you think it is more profitable to grind these filled with regs than those with lower buyins (but with higher ROI and better traffic)? It seems to me that even the 22s and 33s are often filled with regs (and probably the 55s, but I haven't tried those), sometimes its hard to find a game with less than 3 good regulars.

I'm guessing a lot of profits for our friend <3 should come from rakeback on this limit.. And rakeback will be almost twice as much on the 119's than on the 60s'..

biggest downer of my career today. dropped about 2k in 9hrs.

Nice job reaching the 2k downer in 9 hours milestone!!!

lol =) thats a big swing but you'll get over it..

I'm also an Accounting and Finance under graduate in the UK =].

I'm amazed to see you first graph, and your last graph.

Once Uni term starts, I am deffo. going to get some excel charts sorted as well as Holdem/Elephant and see if I can go about it the same way you have - the winning way!

Best of luck for the future =].

I'm moving house within the next few weeks, have to buy new appliances and furniture and all that. So ive cashed out 75% of my roll to pay for it.

Decided to move back down to the 36s hopefully i can 16 table continuously to keep my $/hr pretty high. Should only take me a few weeks to be back up at the 60s.

ive broken even over a small sample on the 110s, and running pretty good over a 1.2k sample on the 60s. Because I moved up so quickly I've been very lucky with not having big downers until a few days ago! It was quite a shock and It brought my recent good luck into perspective.

Gotta grind it out.

Note to mods...this is not a cock in a hole (or a cock in anything, or even a cock)

But if anyone can work out what it is I will give them big respect.

<3 im just playing so I can post a picture that looks like a cock in your blog, I wont be taking the prize away from anyone

These are fish nipples.

I would recognize them anywhere.

Im not sure on the rules of this forum on posting material from other websites, though http://www.pokerspreadsheets.com have some quite advanced ones, for cash games, SNGs and MTTs. They are a good base to alter for your specific needs. I personally altered one of theirs for 18, 27 and 45 mans specifically.
