Villain is a reg I haven't seen in a few months, 13/8 213 hands, others are randoms. Just ship it?

Don't thing so.

Also what a stupid line to potsize donk there with a set or toptwo, only thing thats make sens imo is a combodraw, but i like c/r shove more than to donk.
For me a easy shove in this case.

potting here makes complete sense... If I had top two or a set I would go for close to full pot on flop if I were villain.. I would lean more towards check/raising with 3 :heart:6  actually too maximize fold equity and get value out of something wrong.. although I would probably just prefer seeing a cheap turn card with that hand...

----

13/8 don't really look like solid stats for a reg =)... and we got blockers to all two pair and possible sets...
So I just get it in here and curse when he flips over 55 :)

Yea but as I said I haven't seen him in a few months, and I only use stats from hands from the past 4 months or so :)

im just folding if SB is a reg. what are you beating?

KJ-KQ and draws, set with Kings is impossible and we block both other sets, just a easy shove.

He's not a good reg. It's not a pot sized, it's a huge overbet.

?(
Not a good reg= fishreg .... or not?
Yeah an over potsize is obv a set^^ _ugly:

OP just said villain was a reg, he didnt specify whether he was good or not.

obviously hes not the best reg with a bet like this.

The bet actually makes it less likely he has KQ,KJ. He is definitely not folding to a shove. So what kind of reg is going to stack off here with KQ/KJ ?

The only hand I can see him having that we beat is 67h, or A3h.

And thats assuming he semi-bluffs his big draws rather than c/r.

so you are crushed by his most logical range (sets and better 2 pairs).

Yea he was definitely not bad, consistent winner at low-medium stakes. I didn't know what to think of his bet actually, perhaps a missclick (wanted to bet 150 and made it 350 by accident, idk). I've never seen anyone with a clue bet almost 2x pot here.

if he reads MP2 or CO as really passive spazzy fish then betting 2x pot with a set looks good. sets it up for a nice turn shove

Hi all,

I don't think 2x potting this flop is good with anything because there aren't quite enough draws on it to justify it. I don't think it's bad in every limped pot scenario.

I get it in vs a bad reg (protecting with KT+, semibluffing with combodraws) and snapfold vs a good reg (range consists of sets only and 54, probably weighted towards 54).

I ended up shoving (omg I has 2 pair :f_love: ), others folded and reg called K5o.

Doublepotting there with K5o makes no sense. Oh well, fire up another! And note that he takes this line with the nuts on a board that isn't even that drawheavy.
