Around 470 players joined the tables today, making it a new record.
Amongst them are the likes of Joe Hachem, Liv Boeree, Antony Lellouche and David Benyamine. Even Phil Ivey has been seen at the tables.

Ivey just lost a big pot with Top Two Pair against a set on the flop. Things went even worse for Johnny Lodden who already lost all his chips.

We've already passed the first break and the blinds are now 100/200 in level 3.

Viktor Blom, who was having trouble registrating for the event at the beginning and wasn't really in a splendid mood, is missing since quite some time. His stack of about 19,000 chips is slowly blinding down.

German tennis legend Boris Becker did a good job so far. He's about 3,000 chips up while PokerStars Pro Sandra Naujoks is struggling with a drunken Irishman sitting right next to her.

Hi everyone,

We are sorry, but there is some bad news about the live coverage.
Things unfortunately didn’t go so well for gonnagetya. Technical problems, backpack stolen and at the end the realisation that he simply can’t deal with all the stress a live coverage comes with.

We therefore agreed that he will not continue with the job.

For us, this is just as disappointing as it is for you. After his interview in Gibraltar, we were convinced that he would follow in the footsteps of Elias and Edwin. Unfortunately, it was not possible to simulate any live tournament stress back then to see how he would do.

We will still try to make the best of it and keep you up to date on the latest happenings through direct reports from our Team PokerStrategy.com members.

Also, we will try to get a new reporter asap. Are you interested? Just give us a shout and we can have a talk about it.

Update from Simon1989: There was not too much action so far, he is still sitting at the table with about 30.000 chips.

I have a pretty shitty day, won a big pot early on with a set, then stayed ~35k for hours and lost most of my stack in the last level. I have about 17k left :(
