I'm not sure about flop play. I like the idea of a check/raise, but his potsized bet should mean strength. Another bad thing is the stack setups, he's the biggest stack and you're the 2nd stack, so you should generally avoid large pots vs him without a strong hand. So I think a normal cbet/fold can't be bad.

You said he's loose, but what about his aggressiveness?

I like your play here, but I wouldn't mind betting, the problem there only is, if he pushes, that you are not getting the odds to call, so against an aggressive opponent I love the C/R.
