Some interesting hands posted above. Yeah I'm kinda the same when it comes to my game I have a lot of areas that I need to cut out. I've been working on them and it is showing profit. Looking back over my sessions and some of the plays I've made and I'm like WTF was I doing here?

Once you've established where your problems lie and work on cutting them out then it'll be worth it. There's no need for Hollywood plays at the micros. Just play them when they come and it should be enough to show a profit!

Entertaining blog my friend, keep the updates coming!

Another session like those before.. it was like - playing well... then blow up... playing well... cooler... and it went on and on and on.. i just feel like a complete idiot.. Why cant i play well all session, why do i have to play well for 30 minutes and then donk all my winnings away?

Current bankroll: $297,62 (-$6,25)

Thank you sir

Yeah, you're 100% right about those Hollywood plays. I like bluffing and im pretty good at it i think.. but trying to bluff people who are unbluffable is kinda silly.

OK had a session that gave me another lesson - never play sleepy. It cost me only 2 BI. Im not happy at all with how things are going atm.. had four losing days in a row, something i dont remember happening for a looong time. I should probably play only at weekends, since on the other 5 days (im too lazy to look for how they're called) im always tired from school and stuff.
I also made some stupid calls and bluffs as always, but no huge blowup which is good. And my VPIP has decresed, im starting to play like a nit.:f_biggrin: (today i was playing 24/18 according to elephant.) I still have to nit up a lot though. I think my VPIP shoudl be about 17 or so. Or i can switch to SH.

I cant wait to have a good sleep.

Current bankroll: $287,84 (-$9,78)

Interesting hands:

Made a pretty good call here, after i remembered this sentence which i was told in hand evaluation: "Midstacks tend to bluff" i just called to see whats gonna happen.

Tightest player raises from the button and gets 4 callers. So sick. I thought that he's just trying to pick up the pot, so i called. I should have also just called on the turn. Why did that defensive bet on the river work for him and didnt work for me when i did it in previous hand?_confused: Why do they limp? I get excited when i see all the dead money so i go for it. I just cant help myself. And then i get into these spots.

Had a shitty session again.. I finished in profit, but i just hate these kind of sessions. Look at the graph and you'll understand. It doesnt feel like winning at all.:f_cry: Overall i think i played really well though.

Such a fucked up day.

Interesting hands:

As i learned few hands after this, i realized that i just should have pushed on the river and he would have called me. I missed a ton of value here.

Fml.. really. Todays second session was exactly the same as the first one. Well at least i finished the day with a decent profit. I think i played really well today. I made three stupid bluffs which cost me about 1 BI, i have to stop it. (i know i said this like 54 times but i really do have to stop bluffing. Nobody's folding anything here, its so sick.

Current bankroll: $294,96 (+$6,47)

Interesting hands:

Def hand of the day. I have no idea how i got him to pay me off with that, he seemed to be a pretty good player._biggrin:

GG morons._mad: So sick, i havent played a hand for like 30 minutes and he still called me with K5s and flopped the world. I was completly card dead for entire tourney, except for these two hands. And whats funny, if i played all those crappy hands, i would have had much more - i would have flopped big everytime. Probably hand that changed my tournament was when i had pocket sixes, and some guy capped preflop and 5 other called. Flop came AJ5 with two spades, some idiot lead out, everybody except for me called. Turn was a 6 ofc. I would have had more than 8k chips had i stayed in the hand._mad:
Im never playing tournaments again..

Well not really, the donks at the table were quite aggro.. There was 3bet almost everyhand.

Anyway.. here's a hand from todays session.. if you ever wondered whats the worst way of playing pocket aces, well, there u go.

Stupid check behind on the turn and moronic call on the river. I even had him on pocket fives, yet i still called.

Yeah, you probably right.. But i really felt that he rivered fives full, yet i still payed him off here.:f_mad:

Ok, i had a session that just sucked.. like the ones before.. no big pots won/lost, just a boring session. I havent had a $10+ winning day for like ten days.. I have a loong way to go till i can move up to NL10.. 60 more bucks to go. Its gonna be pretty hard if i'll have all session like this._frown:

Current bankrol: $290,34 (-$4,62)

Interesting hands:

I though i had a read on the guy from a previous hand with him. He made a small overbet on the flop with a mediocre hand (pocket sixes on flop of 45Q with two hearts, which ofc was better than my 74 of hearts:f_biggrin: ) and then he checked it down. So i though that a bet on the turn would be enough to take it down..

The last hand seems to me like villian is weak... cold calling 15 cents on that board and after a reraise shoving all-in... If he had a set or 2 pair and decided to slowplay them on that flop, then he would just call your reraise. I think he had something like J9 or J10 or QJ and he is thinking ok i have a hand here but how should i play it? And most of the times when a player is in a tough spot and is not sure how to play his hand he decides to shove it :)

Well or maybe he was hoping that i had the type of hand i had and that im gonna go allin.. but like i said, i just had no idea, so i folded. If he just raised the donk-bettor, im folding right away.. This way i lost 60c more and had a headache for a long time.

Anyway, i had a nice session today.. It was a bit short, just about 45 minutes, but i started to grow tired so i just stopped playing. I played really well though, didnt make any stupid bluffs (only a tiny check-raise with 8 high:f_biggrin:), made just one stupid call (with 2nd nut straight though!).. i really feel confident with my play.

Current bankroll: $297,08 (+$6,74)

Interesting hands:

I though he had like T9s or some funky stuff, so i loved the turn. I just put him allin, since he was a mid-stack artist, he was obv a bad player so i though that he's not gonna get away from a nine here..

The turn was exactly the situation that im either super ahead or hopelessly behind.. I think hes not turning his 99-KK into a bluff here very often, so he probably flopped a set or possibly had aces up.
