Hey guys, my name is Ondra, i'm 18 years old and come from Czech Republic. I started to play poker when i was 17, like many people, on facebook. I really felt in love with the game. After i became more familiar with the game, i started to play for play money on full tilt. I was playing the 27 men sng and was in the "money" almost everytime, so i asked my brother if i could try to play on his real money account on bwin. I did really well, and because he had to focus on school rather than on poker, he told me that he'll leave me 10 USD there so i can play and that he's going to withdraw the rest. After one month playing SSS there, i managed to reach 60 bucks, which was a big success for me. Then i was on a downswing, couldnt really handle the situation and lost all the money in a week. I was playing games i shouldnt have been playing. But I think it gave me a really good lesson that made me much better player. I learned about the importance of BRM and self control. Then i learned about pokerstrategy, registered there exactly on my 18th birthday and passed the quiz and got my capital deposited on Party. I did well there too, but i stopped playing there, because i really didnt like the site (the rake is sky high, tournaments just suck, software isnt as good as at FTP's and the lobby is a mess). Then i came across a site that offers free capital on Absolute poker, so i said, why not, i'll give it a try, i hope it'll be better than PP. The software is really good, there are really great tournaments, cash games are quite easy to beat. Now, after one month, i have 116 USD (about 91 bucks profit), thanks to 2nd and 4th place in one buck tourney and some good cash game results. I'd like to cash out these money though, so i can play on my favourite site - FTP. So, there are my goals: For 2010: -Play 5k raked hand so i can withdraw the money from AP -Deposit on FTP, play NL5 (I'll use bit more conservative BRM, 32 BI) -Beat NL5 and maybe reach NL10 at the end of the year (it's not really likely though, because i'll have a tough year at school) -Improve my game For 2011: -Obv to reach NL10 and crush it. -Reach NL25 by the end of the year and do the same -Improve my game Lifetime goals: -Improve my game -Earn enough FT points to buy that sweet Mini Cooper -Play at Poker after dark and smack Shanna Hiatt's ass &spades;_love: -Call Phil Hellmuth's raise with QT, K8. T4 and 57 and watch his reaction -Play against Sammy Farha, Doyle, Antonio Esfandiari, Vanessa Rousso, Eli Elezra, Durrrr, Phil Galfond and Ivey at the same table. I hope i'll uptade my blog often enough and i also hope you'll like my blog. :)

Anyway, i just had a good session. I played like a complete nit (30/19, i mean i havent such low numbers even at FR:D ) and it worked out.. i feel like playing like this will earn me money. I didnt even steam at all, didnt berate anyone.. i'm just happy with myself. I feel like im in the zone again.
But, i found leak in my game.. i never make defensive bets. You can see that in so many hands i posted, when im OOP and a scare card comes on the river, i never b/f, but i always c/f or c/c.. i have to change this very quickly.

Just had a decent session. Made couple of expensive mistakes, but overall im pretty happy with the way i played. But these mistakes were just stupid and avoidable, im gonna have to think about them..

So i played my first session of NL10 SH and im feeling very positive. I think the players are playing much more straight forward than in NL5 or NL2, where there are many donks who just make random moves that make no sense. My opponents at the table were just ABC players, as i found out.. i hope everybody at NL10 is!

Just had a pretty bad session.. had a moments when i played really bad, made silly calls which cost me a lot of money. I have to do a review. I finished up by some small bucks, thanks to fdb. Entire session i've been winning all those small pots, but losing the medium size pots. I have to focus on that as well. And from what i've seen thus far, these guys are almost never bluffing.. so i should stop making marginal calls just because every draw missed.

I was so way of my game today after couple of big losses.. Played like a complete idiot.
Overall i have to say that losing big pots at NL10 affects me a lot more than losing a pot at NL5 or NL2.. it really makes me tilt. I really have to work on that.

Just had a great second session. I didnt play my A+ game. I played much better. I really start to realize that good mindset is everything. Ok so bluffing at NL10 is just impossible.. nobody ever folds anything. I mean its so sick. I'm done with this stuff. Really. Had a frustrating session, just like the previous. I never hit anything and when i do, nobeody pays me off.

Played some NL5 now, BR is back at $357,31 (well also thanks to FDP). For the first time i played 6 SH tables and its just great.. I think one of the reasons i've been losing was that i played only 4 tables, so i was bored and had a big VPIP.. now when i play 6 tables i dont have that much time to play those 85s or hands like that. I might as well try 8 next time, we'll see.

Just had a decent session, played 6 tables of NL10 SH and had the lowest VPIP i had so far: 21.:f_cool: I made couple of bad calls, but overall i think i played really well. I'm gonna take a break and play another session.

Just had the most epic session ever.. i was playing really tight, made no bluffs at all (really!!!!). Whats funny.. the others were trying to bluff me all day long.♠_biggrin: I think it was like i folded to their raise ten times in a row and when i finally reraised, they were like "Oh he's just sick of me and plays back at me, i'm allin with my J7o!".♦ I'm gonna play like this forever, it really works for me perfectly.

Had a decent session.. reminded me of my times at NL2 - loong grind and small profit. Just 5 bucks after 1,2k hands? Come on.. I still made couple of pretty bad calls imo, i think thats something that cost me a ton of money.
So far im pretty satisfied with my performance at NL10. I have 5,44 bb/100h over little less than 8k hands. (my goal was at least 6 over a decent sample)
