yup, that's called monster draw, even if you don't have best made hand on flop, you can have most EV to win because of turn or river.

Many online brags about AKvsQQ "bad beats" made a bad influance for new poker players. They always think that all in on river with AK on 74Q58 when villan haves 43 is a bad beat.

How do you combat the guys who call 4 or 5 bet with 6-8 off to your KK and flop two pair? I am just getting destroyed by insane calls that have an uncanny knack of flopping.

You don't combat them...you are happy, because that kind of calls will get you money in the long run...

I can't disagree with the math, and it's not like I'm jumping on the site is rigged bandwagon, but fuck.. is it just a matter of people throwing cash away at low stakes, or what? So far it's only the short run.. but it isn't going well.

Pot is 0.07, I bet 0.05, he reraise to 0.14, I reraise all in.
He's been playing loose/aggressive at the table, and I'm 99% sure I have him here. He calls.

Turn 8, River 4.

He shows 7-2.

I mean.. 7-2..? Are these guys just throwing money away? How do you make money when you jam the nuts and they're hitting it? Going back through the decent sized pots I've been involved in so far I am just getting cracked at an unhealthy rate.

Mostly, I'm just venting.. I just can't seem to crack the maniacs.
