....how do you cope?
In 2011 I thought I would play a few live tournaments. At present I multi-table 4-5 Rush SNGs so play about 800 hands per hour.
I have heard that tournament play is 30-50 hands per hour - so playing 20% of hands would mean 6-10 hands per hour.
That seems so boring - how do you cope?

Live tournaments can be testing because like you say, you play much less hands per/hour.
So iPODs do help. But you should be trying to focus on live tells and talking to players to get information imo.
Get up and go for a quick walk in between some hands or get a drink, eat some food..
