In the last 2 months I started to play SSS on 888poker on NL10. I think that I am ready to go up in limits on NL20 or NL25. My results on 888poker are posted below:

My total results so far on NL10 on 888poker: _cool:

I can't go up in limits and play SSS on 888poker because the minimum buy in for NL20 there is 10$ (50BB). I want to know wich poker platforms still allow players to enter with 20BB at the tables.

Thank you!
Good luck!

I play on ps/ftp shallow tables.. they are full of fishes. I mean you have always atleas 2 guys with vpip 35+.. But I play only 6max so its possible shallow fullring might be full of nits. :))

How many tables do you play? if 1-4 I think 100-150 buy ins is good if you play smaller stakes.

more then 6 tables I think 200 is great.

but if I was you I would try to learn 6max shortstacking a lot more fun I think :P then I would add 50 buy ins to the "rules" abow.

and very nice graph _thumbsup:

You kidding right? When i started out with SSS i would use 30BI for NL10 and NL25 and 40-50 for NL50 and above

no everything under 100 buy ins for shortstacking is just gambling.
If you want to take the game seriously never play with less then 100 buy ins for anything 100bbs cg /mtts sngs whatever.

and 30 buy ins for shortstacking is just ridiculous you can lose 10 in a day easily that would be 1/3 of your bankroll.

I play up to 24 tables at stars and I have up to ~25 BI swings during sessions.. its just variance. I wouldnt recommend to anyone playing SSS with less than 100BI. I dont rly mind even playing with 200+...

I can post some funny graphs where I am -100 BI under EV after just 50k hands etc...

Hi,

It's all about the edge you have over the rest of the field. If your edge is small you will need a lot of BI's. This can have a relation with the number of tables and the limit you play.

I dont mind playing NL200-NL400 with 30 BI's when I only play 4 tables and gather a bunch of notes and I can exploit the weak players. If I hit a downer just move down quickly.

But I think 50 BI's for NL50-NL100 is fine.
30 BI's is fine for NL2-NL25.
