After getting pretty much no additional votes in the whole week, "Poke her jokes" suddenly gets 10+ votes in 1 night... That's just slightly suspicious since the thread couldn't have been read by many new people (it's on page 2 of general discussion, not that many people read that). It's just a bit surprising for that many people to like the thread that has pretty much already been posted many times in the past by different people.

I don't want this person to get disqualified as we can't be sure whether this was ordered by him or was it the other member wanting to help him out. Posting in your own thread that people should vote for it if they like it to remind them it's actually in the voting for the thread of the month makes sense, but spamming over the international forums to vote for someone on the basis of the similar nationality of the thread poster just makes the voting pretty much pointless since you could just name the poll "who likes balkan people?" etc.

I would like to thank you for pointing out the actions of one of the active followers of my thread. As you kindly pointed out above, these actions were neither ordered nor suggested by me in any way and were purely the result of a dedicated and enthusiastic follower of the thread...
I would like to use this opportunity to correct some of the misguiding statements in your previous post.
First of all, my thread, which I have closely followed these past few days, has been receiving votes steadily, and the '10 sudden votes' you mention is an exaggeration. I would also like to point out that my thread has 6k+ views, so I do not see anything suspicions in 5 more votes.
Even though I have not instructed for any post promotions of my thread, I still believe that what one of my thread readers posted was perfectly alright as it was a simple promotion and not 'fishing', although I agree that there is a thin line between them. Unlike your previous post, I do not wish to point fingers or make any malicious statements at anyone, but your thread too has had oscillations of 5+ votes in less then a few hours. And there seems to be a few negative comments about my thread under the voting board (I hope that none of them were suggested or ordered by you). There is also a promotion for your thread under the voting board as well which, under your logic would be regarded as 'fishing' as well:

Well, actually it was 10+ votes in less than a day, and it wasn't really a promotion for a thread since there was not even a link to the thread, only to the voting, but pretty much telling people to click a button so that a fellow Croatian/Serbian will gain money? Croats and Serbians don't even like each other that much, how ironic is that... My oscilations are probably the result of the thread being mentioned in the news section. I wouldn't go into comparasion inbetween the threads as they are way too different to compare, but what I will do since it is apparently not your fault that Mako2d2f advertised your thread, and that we can't know how the voting would have gone if he didn't, I suggest that we split the prize pool $75 - $75 no matter who wins since the voting is pretty much pointless now anyway, I believe that would be the fairest decision since the threads seem to be by far the best anyways.
