They both c/c preflop and check the flop which means they have rather weak suited hands and pocket pairs. Therefore bet 3/4 pot here every time, they don't know you don't have an ace, all they know is that you became aggressive preflop a strong ace is very much in your range here.

Checking will never win you the pot.

Now, if they decide to get fancy and c/r the flop you must fold. If they donk the turn you must fold. Or if they try to steal river (since you will have to check the turn if they call flop since the board is so dry) just call a reasonable bet size.

If this board had been wetter a pot sized bet on flop would be better, and then c/c it down if they still call.

Hello Cooleyman,

There is not much you get value from on flop and either even not many draws are possible. Plus I don't expect a lot worse pairs to Call you either. Therefore I wouldn't even mind to Check behind the flop and start betting on turn or deciding on the actions of opponents what to do. But betting ain't a mistake either.

Best regards.

Yep, don't think that you win much on the river anyways as you bet the flop and he called.
