After limping in as BB i get myself into a weird situation. Top pair with a crappy kicker. No flushes or straights possible though and no raises preflop. I put him on a queen (which i'd loose against, caus of my kicker) but since he is a semi loose player i decided to call. But i got to be honest. I was completelly lost and still kind of am on what to do in these situations. Is calling a good thing? Should i fold/raise in my position?
On the turn i was heads up with him and he checked to me. Felt like a trap, but i decided to bet anyways. He just called so i was at a loss here. Can't put him on a hand. Pocket dueces or sevens and he's afraid of the queens now? An overcard with a low spade maybe? A8 or something of the like. Dunno. I was sure he'd raise if he had a queen, so i didn't put him on that anymore. Or maybe some weird slowplay?
A spade on the river made me uneasy but i decided to bet anyways, since i had initiative. He raised me and i'm quite sure im beat here. Backdoor flush im thinking. I called anyways. A 3-bet is out of the question i think and just folding here is also kind of bad, if for nothing else to see what cards he has and to see how he played them.
