I live with the Portuguese Community Manager "TheGREATmazinga" and can confirm it felt very, very sweet to win after 2 full weeks of him telling me we were going to get "crushed".
These events are for community spirit/fun, all of the communities in PokerStrategy get involved and I promise that the rivaly is competitive but 100000% FUN
The Polish community are VERY good and to beat them would be a huge achievement

The banter both in the office and on the forum around that battle was absolutely immense and everybody took it in the spirit that it is intended: fun, competitive rivalry.
If we can create that atmosphere again here for our battle with the Polish guys (looking forward to knocking Jakub out of the tournament!) we'll have done very well.
Make no mistake, English Community, Poland are going to bring it hard.

Of course I do have the U$ 1 and could make the deposit... but then I'd lose all "first depositors" bonus and that kind of crap on Pokerstars, no?
So until I first clear my bonuses on other poker rooms I think I'll have to stay out of the community battles
It may not be until next year or so that I'll engage in combat if they are always held on PS.

I think U will find at least one friend who has money on P* and will help U with that 1,1$ that's not much.
