Hi Guys, Guess WHAT! Polish Community declared WAR! &diams; Over the past 2 weeks we have seen an emergence of “rail request threads” I am posting this “owning request” thread for every single person who is a member of the best forum in the world. To me that’s exactly what we are - the best forum and more importantly the best community in the world. I’ve only been here 3 months but feel completely at home and it’s all because of you guys! :f_love: Important info Rules: The Community who will gather the most money will be the winning team! • When? Sunday the 29th of May at 20:00 GMT • What? No Limit Hold'em • How much? $1.10 • Where? PokerStars • Tournament name: PL meets EN • Tournament ID: #395417834 • Password: royalwedding • Prizes: Pride, glory, bragging rights and slices of the prize pool! As far as I know we are undefeated, last time out we thrashed the Portuguese Community but this time I expect a tougher challenge. The Polish team are forever bragging about their equally impressive record (9-1) and I think it’s about time we showed them who is number 1. Don't just perch on the rail and cheer for your team, run out onto the felt wearing your community's colours with pride and stand side-by-side with your community members. Every entrant counts towards our chances and if we win it’s going to be so so sweet &diams; Play for a slice of the prize pool and the chance to lift the title of "English Community Champion" with pride. There should be multiple buy ins next time, $1, $10, $20 or something. Just a thought.

Although this is a good idea, I think it doesn't hold much strength because it can put people off with limited bankrolls and we really want everyone to be able to feel like they can participate as at the end of the day, we are all one big family really

Imho next time the best way to decide who's better will be average position. Just summary position of all english players and split it by number of them. The same with opponent.

Result of this will show which side is having better true poker players. This should be more fair because now a side which advantage in numbers can play thigh so called poker (nits and rocks) and it's slightly possible to defeat them because of their numbers.

About prize pool.
Only 3$ for my 11th place but I wasn't playing for money there.
Playing for money in tournament with such low prize pool is totally waste of time.

That means I just don't care about prize pool in such events.

I do disagree. The polish community won. Yes there were much more pole than non-pole. but were are the only one to blame. It was a fun event and I will be glad to participate again. Just hopefully next time more of us will participate and we can match their number.

I didn't mean that if you play 1 you have to play them all. Everyone can participate in whichever one (or more) they like. Having different buy ins will give people who have more $ the chance to play for more that's all.
