I busted twice before I made my first 1k profit. take it slow and focus on discipline and learning.
Basic basic standard stuff please. Some of the hands I've seen on here have been horrendously played and I'm a fish.
Just stick to the basics and rake in the money.
Most of us get a bit 'egoey' and think we're super- pros coz 'they're only nl2/nl5/nl10 fish and get punished for it, calling all ins with TP average kicker, blah blah.
I am however, expecting this blog to throw up some good stuff later, as youseem to have the attitude. that's what brought me here.
Just a point, I'm no hasenbraten, but I've never deposited and never will, even though my BR is currently $21 and I play nl4 FR.
Last point, don't be playing 44000000 tables just coz you can, you'll go broke making the odd mistake here and there, it doesn't need to be major. Play 2 or 3 and get good, then crush 4, then 5...then ....

I didnt play anything uptill now cause we got here in poland studentsfest so basically i was drunk whole week. Today Im sober so ill try to make some sweet night session.
I orderd some sklansky poker books and ace on the river by greenstein cause hes one of my favourite player. I read ealier Negreanu Power Holdem but it was mainly (like 99,99%) about tournament play.
I'm gonna try to play daily 1k-2k hands uptill next week where i will need to take a break cause there's awesome 3day music fest: KoRn, Guano Apes, Alter brigde and tickets are only for......12$ ♦

yesterday i got autographed sklansky nolimit holdem book from pokerstars store. I read few chapters on pdf version and it was really good. As i study science i like the strong portion of math there. nice thread and have fun moving up the limits.
Here a hint. You wanna play bigstack 100BB, then rebuy till 2$ when running short. Auto top up will help you there, as it would be a sin to sit at with half stack or less and then getting it in the middle with AA for less than a stack.
