It's the contributed method they use at 888. That means the rake for the pot is equally divided between all players who have put money in the pot during that particular hand. So if youre heads up and the pot is $20 then the rake for the pot is $1 and you both get points for $0,5.
And yes, the 20% is quite small, but that's how the 888 works.

I had a little chat with their support team and they informed me about a 100% up to 200$ reload bonus in June with the bonus code "888Reload0611".
Not too promising, still better than nothing tho...
