Hy everybody!

:heart: I'am Jaszi from Hungary and I want to make a challange in July and in August. I play NL20 SH at Ongame Network and with a good privat deal 80-100% rakeback I have been offered. I want to play 150k hands within 2 months. It's going to be very hard for me, I have played 40-50k hand per months so far.

:heart: I will write everyday about the status of my challange. Why in English? Because I want to make my English better. My English is very poor, but I learn everyday if I have time.

About my challange

:diamond: Challange starts: 2 July 2011
:diamond: Challange ends: 31 August 2011
:diamond: Number of hands: min. 150.000
:diamond: Profit: min. 1500$

Rules

  • Max 9 tables
  • I dont play more than 1 hour without break
  • I don't do anything else if I play
  • Mark intresting hands in HM
  • 2 times of week hand analyse
  • Note the other players
  • Good table selection
  • Game without TILT
  • 2 videos per week
  • Jogging or swimming everyday

One Q regarding your plans:

Don't you think that a winrate of 2,5bb/100 @NL20 with 100% RB would be an underachievement?

Set your goal to 2500 usd and than if you fail, you will still have like +1k up the original ♦

Woow, thank you boys! You have right, 2,5bb/100 is easy, so I set my goal to 1500 USD, then I have to run with 5bb/100.

Let's go to eat something, then watch 2 videos and go to playing tennis.

Im not sure you will get anywhere near 80% rakeback playing cashgames on Ongame. (due to their essence "rake distribution" system)

  • FD bonus (48% rakeback)
  • Privat rakerace (20-30% rakeback)
  • Cashback (20-30% rakeback)
  • Promotions (0-20% rakeback)

Problem is how the rake is distributed in cash games.

For example you might pay 100$ of rake in a cash game and only get credited 50$ to you (and get rakeback and points based on that) because you are a winning player.
So you would get 80-100% from that 50$.

+ most of the rooms don't pay cashback while you'll clearing FDB or any other bonus. So yeah that doesn't look possible to me either. :(

Btw where do you get those private rakeraces?

Thanks, boys. The room isn't partner with PokerStrategy, so just in privat message.

The first session was good, i played 1 hour and won more than 2 BI, so good start. Now break, then play...

I played 65 minutes, 2-3 coolers, 1-2 herocall and lost 2 BI. 1500 hands more for today. In the evening I post update.

Comment:

The start was good, but at the end of the day, was 2-3 cooler and suckout, so my profit was over. I lost 25bb. I played 6 tables and for 1 hour 9 tables. I think, I played well, but I maked 2-3 mistakes.

Played 1024 hands, won 15$. Now break, in the evening I post update.

An intresting hand against agressive regular:
He likes restealing on SB and BB, and folds a lot of to 4bet. I didn't have blocker, but was a good spot.
