Why would anybody want to teach a fish to play better?

I like to encourage them :f_biggrin: to play as they play, as I did in the image above. Funny text.

Gabi can you give some details about the traffic/player pool/ ability to grind at NL 25/50 sh tables on Europoker?

And how much rakeback are you averaging from your bonus?

I am looking for a room at which to grind a nice bonus during summer

Well, the bonus on Europoker is surely a trap if you play 30NL, you only have one month to release it (I speak about the $2200 bonus).

50NL I didn't play till now on europoker. But you will probably get used to the platform as I did. I have no problems with it now, I'm playing 4 tables and I am enjoying it. I played once 6 tables, it was also ok.

I still didn't resolve HEM problem. I play without a hud, but I put a lot of notes.

The traffic is acceptable, I find fish on a regular basis.

Anyways, if I was you and didn't have an account on CakePoker, I would play there, with 33% RB and Bonus to release (which doesn't cut out the rakeback).

Me and my 800 points/day... lol. I played a lot and barely made 1600 till now.

One increment I will release, I have 15 more days for it. After that I have another bonus with $60 increments, I hope to release 2 (expiration day 30-05) [the easter bonus]

I've improved my game in 3bet pots and I'm more comfortable playing them now. I play sessions where I 3bet light and sessions when I only 3bet premium. This way I can use my image in my advantage.

Changing gears, finally I'm doing it. I can say that I can play 2 different game styles. LAG and NIT (tight/loose, passive/aggressive). Of course both go in my main game, which I adapt according to opponents, table dynamic and image.

(from this month)

Players to my right really are abused. I watch and wonder when they will adapt, a few tried but they busted against the nuts :f_biggrin: I only 3bet the nuts.

Lately I've watched 2 vids/day. Most while I play.

Here's an interesting hand

NL Holdem $1(BB) Replayer
SB ($101)
BB ($303)
UTG ($76.06)
UTG+1 ($100)
Hero ($105)
BTN ($130)

Dealt to Hero Q♠Q♦

UTG+1 raises to $3.50, Hero raises to $12, fold, fold, fold, UTG+1 calls $8.50,

FLOP ($25.50) 3♠5♠K♦

UTG+1 bets $15, Hero folds,

UTG+1 wins $24.25

I found this hand in the evaluation forum, it's not mine. It's an interesting situation, you 3bet QQ - villain calls oop - a K high suited flop comes and villain donkbets into you 3/5 pot. Villain unknown.

Folding would be the easiest play, just presume that he has a K most often and just cut the variance.

Villain has an exact full stack, which means he might be an ok player. If he has a K (AK, KQ) why would he donkbet, when he can let us bluff cbet / and if we check behind our hand is face up (lower than K pp).

When fish donkbet they usually have TPWK or draw, don't know if it's the case here, but I will probably put this unknown player on similar range (lower pp, FD,). I'm not saying he can't have the K, but I also think we can find a call on the flop (we also have a backdoor FD) and reevaluate the turn.

An A would suck the most on the river, because mostly I put him on a hand like AQs. On an ace I would check behind and fold to a bet on the river.

I don't think that his range that I assessed would barreled the turn, so I will probably fold to most cards when he barrels. I expect a check most often. If he checks, I check behind and value-bet the river small to induce a call from PPs and maybe AJ when he hits the J on the turn or river.

Have you played any similar spots? It would be interesting to see some villain's hands.

Omg, I won't be able to release even one part of the bonus?

I payed $650 rake till now and I have only ~1750 points.

In a day a pay @50 rake and I have only 14 days left (till 21). That would mean $700 rake = ~1750 points (and I would need 2000 more)

Sorry but just LOL! Didn't you look how much RB% is the FDB? If it's this low it is simply not worth it!

LE: Just did a bit of math according to what you wrote here and FDB on Europoker is somewhere around 30% or less. Just awful imo. You get more on FTP from direct RB and Iron Man, not including FTPs value.

Here

Ongame is stupid. They have a different point distribution for ring games, called essence. You get less points if you play against weak players and more if you play against regs - it's just mindless. If you play SNGs and you rake $1 you get 5 pts. If you play cash and rake $1 europoker/betfair decides how much you get.

The 40% cash back bonus, the $10K when playing cash is definitely not 40% rakeback. (because you buy it with points)

I just played a session of 1300 hands, results.. I payed $22 rake and I got 52 points.

I wanted to grind 12 tables, 150$ rake/day to release the bonus, but I'm losing with 12 tables, so I don't want to do that. Who knows maybe they will decide to give 2 points for $1 rake, or less and I won't even get to release one part.

I'm gonna play till the end of the month, buy an instant cash bonus, get the money from the rake race and get out.

Thanks Vlad, but I'm not playing on EuroPoker anymore.

Damn it. This FTP thing is screwing around with my plans. After leaving europoker, I came back to FullTilt, because I like the software.

I wanted to reach NL200 and NL400 till the end of the year.

My game is pretty good at this moment. I did serious improvement. I wanted to update one month or two later from this date when I was supposed to play NL50 or NL100. Before the break with FTP I was playing NL25.

What I did from my last update is this, I noticed that for a few months I walked around in circles with 6max, so I had to change something, I thought to myself "maybe I'm not as good as I think I am and should play lower and study harder" and I started serious note taking reading, watching, learning and helping others to improve their game.

Besides that, I had to see if I can win at the lowest levels before playing at the current stake that my BR permits me. So I started playing NL5 with no shame and said that if for a week I win and nicely, I will move up to NL10. And I did so. With NL10 is the same story for 2 weeks. Mainly in this time what I did is study and improve more than play, that's why the volume is not great. I focused on exploiting my tables and playing my best.

I also enlarged my BRM, I was/am going to play with 60-100BIs. Bigger and bigger as I go through stakes.

I don't have many options right now. I hope that FTP comes back on track, or that it gives us players the opportunity to cash out as soon as possible.

It will take a lot of time to start back from NL2 if FTP takes a lot of time or if it doesn't return our funds.

I have 16 euros on PokerStars and it would be interesting to see in how much time I transform it in a few thousands, but that will be wasting time. It will be much better if I find someone to stake me or to give me a loan. I would prefer the loan option (with % interest, of course) because I don't like feeling like I work for someone, and this way when FTP enables cash outs I will be able to give straight back a big part of the loan.

If anybody is interested post here or give me a PM. Also, any feedback or suggestions on this is highly appreciated.

Cheers!

Very nice graphs :). You really need a lot of discipline to play so low and to study more than playing. I hope your BR will be safe and FTP will resolve their problems. You said "I wanted to reach NL200 and NL400"
You still can, there is 6 month left for this so don't worry

Thanks luckylooser88!

BTW, the sum I want is $1500 and I'm gonna play at PokerStars NL25 (at least till I hit the 2400 point).

My BR on FTP is ~$1500. So as soon as cash outs are enabled most of the loan will be repaid. If all the money on FullTilt will be lost, then it will take longer to repay ,but it shouldn't take longer then 6 months. Hopefully I will be able to repay the loan in 2 - 3 months, or sooner.

I also want to assure you that I will repay everything + the established interest %. I'm not gonna run with the money =) (You could think that everything that I did for the last 2 years lead to this planned moment where I lose my BR on FTP and then loan the same amount just to disappear forever, but I'm not doing that, i promise :P )

$1500 BR it's my goal. I also accept loans in smaller amounts, from different people. (ex 500 from someone + 500 someone else + 500, or any other distribution that equals 1500 in the end.)

_thumbsup:

so if you are talking about a loan, what kind of interest rates are we talking about?

I was thinking about 10-15% flat.

This could be fast money if FTP comes back soon and I would appreciate the help.

Thinking about this as well.

Well exactly in the same lines, 1500 $ and that kind of interest
