I have had some slowdowns on my PC before, but since it is 256 RAM only, with 3-4 tables open + Firefox, I guess it is not out of the ordinary. Maybe you're talking about something else..

They're probably downloading viruses to our computers :P

Just kidding. I haven't noticed anything, but then again I didn't even look.

But Mansion software does tend to disconnect me a lot, and one time they had a problem and a lot of people couldn't log in.

just to tell what my comp is all about

i have a 3ghz dual core prosessor 2 gb ram and a 256mg videocard
really shouldn't have a problem

okay i've read somewhere on the net that it's because of the statistic.db that the software use so much cpupower, so i went to check the size of my DB and it's on 160mb, just wonder does any of you ever delete it or rename it to save it???

Does it really bother you that it takes so much out of your cpu? I mean, if you play a game it usually takes 90+% of your cpu power, so you shouldn't run into heat problems or whatever with 50% of cpu usage.

you have to use ram disc, with it i am able to play 16-20 tables

well there are some problems in the way ongame`s software write statistics files. I am not software specialist, don`t know specifics, but it is so. So there are two ways how you can avoid this:

1) disable statistics (and things like timer, etc)

2) download a ram disc or ram drive and put there statistics file (I put whole mansion directory there)

ram disc is a virtual drive which consumes some of your RAM memory (I made 256MB ram drive, giving up 256MB of my RAM memory). since it is virtual and fast the problem solves.

google it)

sounds great thanks, shouldn't have probs giving up some ram my pc got 2GB
