Would work for me also, accepting transfers over PS and MB.

Hey man. I'm actually in very similar situation like you. I rarely feel happy in my life and recently I realized it is because of my family. Sometimes I just feel sick of that bastards that keep disturbing my life with their dumb crap. Sometimes I just sit around and wonder "Why? Why is this shit happening to me?" Is this a kind of situation you can resolve? I think so, yes. But there is only one way - to become your own man. As long as you are dependant on that bullies thinking THEY know what's best for YOU you will have to take their bullshit. It's not like some extra large problems that could happen (like some heavy illness), but it can affect you hard. You become often frustrated, sad and 'light depressive'.
You get trapped inside yourself, and as one wise man said 'The more I think, the more unhappier I get'. If I actually had some nice amount of money I'd be gone in a blink of an eye and never return. Or atleast I think I would now. There are people who can leave their problems behind or do not care, but I can't do that. I can't live in unstable world. I like to know what's gonna come next and have organized plans. About staying home on saturday night, I know how it feels. But man, you have to know there is always tomorrow. It's your job to try to make it better. You must push yourself in the right direction. Those who have harder lives are often better off later. Nietzsche stated that any worthwhile achievements in life come from the experience of overcoming hardship.

So right! Good english rocks! Well explained. We encountered same problems! We have to find a way to make $$$. :>

Did I read right that you scammed 2 members of this site or am I mistaken?

Shiiiit. I always wonder how people let themselves get in such bad shape. Just stop worrying about everything. >_<

Don't just cruise along doing the same thing and hoping to ship a tourney to change everything. I've been stuck in this loop several times (no doubt will be again at some stage) and it's depressing cos you are losing almost every day. I think you're better off trying to actually grind up the roll using a different method with less variance (a job) maybe sng or cash or something with shorter downswings.

Then you can get the money to move out of home. If your parents don't want you to work tell them to deal with it or pay you to not work, you don't need to study full time unless you're stupid or doing something crazy hard.

I think the feeling of working towards a goal is much better than the feeling of hoping a solution just appears in front of you. If you cant get a job and it has to be poker at least put the focus on something you can control like volume and skills, that way you wont feel like you're getting nowhere

youre not alone, my friend

cojonel.

Your writing style and your written content is redolent of the many 419 Advance Fee Fraud scam emails that originate from West Africa; which has me questioning your authenticity. You state that you are attending university yet the quality of your written English is comparable to that of an ill-educated 12-year-old infant. What kind of qualifications does one need to gain entry to the University you attend?

Forgive me if I am mistaken, but everything I have read of yours just seems to smack of scammer. Perhaps I am being cynical because I feel so “depressed” — induced I might add by the lamentable drivel I have had the misfortune to read throughout this thread.

Grow up!

Being married is not the problem — it is to whom you are married!

I don't think your parents are the issue, and you most probably need to seek help if such things get you down and depressed so easy. You may have insufficient serotonin levels and thus find it hard to find a happy mood.

Let me give you something actually worth being depressed about, let's dig deep into my life over the last 3 years shall we:

It all starts in 2008 when I headed off to UNI. All is well, and studies are going fine. Christmas comes, how harmful can it be? Let's enjoy the holiday and return back to UNI. But that didn't happen, on Christmas night my mother got rushed into hospital after an attack in her gaul bladder (however you spell it). The operation was a success, unfortunately the cleanlyness in the hospitals aren't all that great and a nasty bug let loose in her chest meaning she needed to be rushed to ITU (intensive care unit). A place where people usually do not come out alive a lot of the time.

Following the already bad news, due to struggle with breathing she was put into forced coma for several months, and one of my last words were "are you going to be alright?" Which followed by a shake of the head not knowing what was going to happen. Have you had the misfortune of having to ask your mother that question?

I spent New years eve and day in a hospital with my mum in a coma, how did you spend your 2008 New years?

That lasted 4 months of which became a rollercoaster ride with ups and downs. Fortunately, she came out alive, but with severe damage to her chest, being told that getting a bug could have worse consequences to her than your average person.

This meant I failed a year of uni, and fell into much more debt.

No worries, moving on, let's try again the next year at uni shall we?

Year 2009, start of a new course, fresh start, how bad could it be?

Met my girlfriend, one night of sex (we were using protection), the condom split, she ended up pregnant which led to a very angry and confused me, which turned to drinking and smoking.

I wasted my money on booze, cigs, and took out loans for shit I didn't even need because my mind wasn't in the right place.

Following that I had huge complications with my girlfriend which almost ended our relationship in many occassions.

From that stress of all this, I developed a chest problem and a huge mental issue with anxiety that to this day I still struggle with.

The year of 2009 and 2010 carried on terribly with me and my girlfriend often taking breaks apart of up to 1 month. At one point she kicked me back out to my parents and I didn't see her for a month and a half. She was only able to kick me out because all the other tenants decided to let me stay but my name wouldn't be on the tenancy agreement so they would all have leverage on me should they choose to want me out (bad move).

Towards the end of 2010, things cleared up, my girlfriend had the baby and things between us started to get good again. She moved into my parents house and they decided to provide a home for us whilst we sorted our own home.

Anyway as I thought things were getting good, my dog of 12 years developed a lot of tumours an we were left with the only decision of putting her down. I wont forget the way she looked before she was put down. I couldn't go in a watch it happen, my parents did instead.

I know it's just a dog, but even an animal you've had for almost as long as you know your family is very hard to take. Adding to that, my grandad who was still in his 60's developed alzheimer's and quickly deteriorated and not long after passed away. To add to the trouble, his crazy second wife (not my grandma) decided that because she was angry with us that she would not allow my grandads daughters and son (my mum, auntie and uncle) to bury his ashes next to our grandma, and instead is deciding to do what she wants with them.

Another big blow to this family.

Yet still, I've come out with a family, in my own house, earning a healthy wage and with the possibility and support of my girlfriend to play poker.

And your angry because your parents wont give you any money? I went into debt of over 20 k, trust me, handling money without experience is not always a great thing.

You should feel fortunate.

Oh and btw, hence the 2008 registration that has almost no activity on it. I signed up with the idea of starting but following the problems I have waited until now :)

Seems someone needs some fresh air. Take some vacation? I heard that Vegas is very pleasent this time of year :)

There is 2 things what I have to add to help clear things up for you, I will be 100 percent honest:

1 - Do not let poker be your whole life, I know now you are thinking, ohhh, I wanna be a poker pro, sure being a poker pro is good, but as long as you have a balanced life. Poker is meant to be a segment of your life, not the whole thing. If you run bad for a while and trust me, you will extremely frequently, if it's all you got, you will feel depressed on a regular basis. Now I am not even adding the fact that you may or may not be good enough to make it. Go uni, work and play poker on the side, and you will see you will have a lot more happiness in your life. Keep in mind a very very small percentage of poker pros would want to do it for a long time, ask any pro if they would want to be a poker pro forever and you will see that at least 80% don't.

2 - It seems that you have some growing up to do. You deff need to move out of your parents house and live by yourself, but let me tell you this now, it 99.99 percent isn't going to happen from poker. You're best of finding a job as I said above to make enough money to play. If you go uni, work part time you still can find 2-3 hours a day to play poker easy. Don't see working as this horrible thing, which everyone makes it seem in poker communities. Do what you have to do in your circumstances and forget what everyone else opinions are. People portraying work as a bad thing can have a very large negative effect on peoples lives especially to young poker players development.

You degenerated because your girlfriend got pregnant? What the hell...

I saw only 1 Big problem. Your mother being in hospital. Next you knew that there are not 100% protection and you risked it, and dog is only animal. And with that Grandpa wife, i believe she is right to choose what she want to do with his body.

Hi, cojonel

Yes, the life sucks, I agree, especially at adolescent ages .
I suggest you to learn meditation, it will feel good.

Having a child you're not prepared to have is nothing huh? It's easy to talk big when you don't have these problems.
