feeling fishy now...
Back to the battle from tonight, I finally moved my 265$ BR to William Hill and having a 530$ bonus to clear in the next 90 days, I certainly have a good motivation to play a lot.
As I want to get used to the new skin, and also beacuse of the cow cash promo or sth like that in iPoker network, I decided to begin with playing NL5 SH in Euros. I guess this is sth like NL7 in USD so I can say to myself I haven't really moved down limits!
Anyway, I promised the other day I'll do better this month so I quit blogging until I have sth good to show you guys!

p.s.1: If anyone interested, feeling jealous of all these national communities you have, I decided to create one bymyself called (surprise surprise) "Greek Community". Anyone who wants to be in this club, he can join....
p.s.2: The days I couldn't even understand what is the community are way behind for me....
Well, I know, nothing new here but I am between posting this hand and breaking my monitor to the wall....
Today, in the morning, I read a great news story at a greek poker site informing that at late March the first offline poker tournament is going to be held in greece. And also that from tonight, freeroll satellite tournaments will begin at pokerstars. So, being long since I seriously played a tournament I decided to join.
Things were going pretty well for the first 2 hours and at some point I got plenty of quality hands to play my game. The problem is that when you are sitting in a table full of greek freerollers, you can't know what to expect...

From that spot I got somehow on tilt, especially with this guy in MP1 who constantly was making ubnormal moves. (at least in my opinion)
But since pokerstrategy has improved me a lot as a player, I managed to find the discipline to wait for the right spot to bust this sucker...

Hey, just after making a big break from NL10 I am getting back on tables slowly slowly and just wanted to post that this thread has an official song from today....

TA DA!!!
FEBRUARY REVIEW...
12 hours of playing NL10 SH
3597 hands
almost 8bb/100
current BR : 243,69$
Well, it was a weird month, I lost my concentration on grinding NL10 somewhere in the middle of the month when I decided to play some DoNs. In the past I had some quite good results with DoNs, but this time it did not work so good. After that, I quit playing poker for some days and now I want to give it a try again. This time I want to be more dedicated than before so I will set some goals for March:
1)Play EXCLUSIVELY NL10 SH
2)Play 6 tables per session, 25 hours total.
3)10bb/100 EV results
4)Read some articles
5)Watch some videos
6)POST SOME HANDS FOR EVALUATION
Thats it for now, thanx for reading me folks (if anyone does actually) because I know for sure non winning stories are not so interesting and not so inspiring also!
See ya...

Well, I suspect this is going to be a big post...
First of all, I now admit that I am a big fish and I have to try really hard to overcome this stage. I am not ashamed for this, everyone in the beginning is a fish. I just try to find a good excuse why some guys stay fish for some period and some other guys (including me) stay fish for a much longer period. I guess there has to be people who are going to be fishes for ever, I mean we cannot be all winners can we? But it is difficult for a man to accept the fact that he cannot overcome this, that his destiny is to be a fish for ever.
You know, this egoism I describe above is the attribute of my character that had led me in the past to such bad decisions concerning my gambling life. And the funny thing is that in all the other aspects of my life, I am a really humble person.
Now, considering my failure so far, I guess the most wise decision would be to give up. I could withdraw my 100$, buy something nice to myself and no big deal. The problem is I can not do it so easily because I have really invested something to this. I have put an enormous amount of effort up to now because I really struggle to find a way out of my debts. I know it sounds crazy to even say here that I try to pay my debts created from gambling by gambling some more. And everyone in my real life who knows this he just thinks I am a sick gambler in need of great mental help. But is this true? I believe it is not. However, just in case, I have swear to myself that I will never deposit again money to gamble.
I do not consider myself stupid. I know I am clever enough to be a winner on this game. I know it because I have proved my cleverness on other fields in my life and allow me to say it even if it sounds rude. I am 30 years old and besides my gambling side, I also do other stuff in my life so I think I can have a good picture of me. So, the fact that I have failed up to now in poker must have some explanation and not my lack of brains.
In my opinion, the biggest problem of all is my rush to succeed. Until now, not only did I want to have success (who doesn't actually?) but I wanted it right here and right now. I tried to make big steps because I saw that others also tried to make big steps at their beginning and they succeed. But I did not see the whole picture I guess. That probably many more other guys made these big steps and they failed.
Trying to conclude all these thoughts to something meaningfull, I decided to restart my poker carreer. Having a bankroll of 100$ and a small experience to cash tables up to now (and being Gold again!!), I will go down to 0.01-0.02 level and try to work myself up with little but stable steps.
I am not busted yet. So I still have a right to believe I can do it. Moving down is not a shame. Failing is not a shame. To not give all the effort you can, this is a shame.
cu at the tables....
I can understand you very well, as I'm also going through all this similar shit. However I have learned some valuable lessons, and here they are - don't play for money. Play for fun, for improvement, play because you like it - but not because you want (or even worse - you need) to win some money now. You might not notice that, but sometimes you end up playing because you "should" win some money despite the fact that you don't even want to play now. That's very very bad, it's a knife in your back. You cannot move forward with that attitude. For example my problem is that I'm very money oriented, and this forces me to change my play sometimes (despite knowing that previous play was correct), and tilt enormously. Now think about it - do you need all that shit, that is blowing your head? No! That's what I said to myself and started playing while not even looking at the cashier and not knowing even how much money do I have. Today I actually checked the info about this whole week, I saw I'm up 2BI on 8k hands (meh..), had some ups, had some downs, but most the important thing is that I didn't even gave a fuck about money all this week - it works! Now that's a good start for a brighter tomorrow. If I want to play - I play, if I don't - I don't, and no urge to win more money, or to bounce back from losses. And now I'm gonna apply this "don't look at your money" tactic for a longer time (checking the info on HEM from time to time ofc in order not to get used to fishy play by any chance
).
So basically what I wanted to say - separate all your monetary goals from poker and enjoy it. Yeah, I know you have some debts, you need money, I can understand you very well about that also, but hey - poker is not a solution here, just face it. You're gonna need to destroy that urge to succeed in order to succeed.
Best of luck!
Let's see your graph again with SD and NSD winnings. Beating the micros requires infinite patience.
@ Bliausmas : I really appreciate your post, thank you very much.
@ jbpatzer : As requsted, here is my graph including SD and NSD winnings. Waiting for your comments.

Must go now to my Autocad lessons, I'll come back later...
I have discovered that to beat the micros, you need to get to showdown with the best hand. (No shit Sherlock!). You're looking a bit stationy atm. If a passive player starts raising, he really does beat your TPTK.
On the other hand you must agree that during my last 5k hands I am loosing almost exclusively with non showdowns. Maybe this means that I got outplayed by my micro opponents? Did I play too scared perhaps? Too loose preflop and too tight postflop?
Anyway, I am really too tired now to post something more usefull but I promise I will come back with some stats of my game. I mean, 30k hand is a good sample to see some things.
I want to thank again Bliausmas for his post. He said the obvious but I guess I just wanted to hear it from someone else. I must stop see poker as a solution to my problems and just try to have fun playing it. Only with this mentality I do have a serious chance to succeed.
cu!
Well, still here guys, I apologize for not posting for so long.
I have quited playing poker since my last post and I am not planning to start again since I got convinced that I must first deal with all my real life problems before I can commit myself to playing winning poker. And the truth is I am doing a good job on this direction.
The problem is however things here in Greece are not going so well the last few weeks. The atmosphere is quite bad and our future seems very very difficult. People here now thinks that our government is not doing the right things to give the right boost to our country and we our now protesting every day to make them hear us. But so far nothing seems to be changing and in the next few days new difficult measures are going to be taken, measures that in my opinion are going to sink our economy completely.
So, at the moment forgive me for focusing on all these issues but believe me I am not forgetting this great community and my love for the game of poker. In addition I decided to apply for the NL BSS school because I think it is going to be a great experience.
That is all for now, my best wishes to all of you and always with great luck on tables!
