did i play this hand wrong

also i know i should have 3bet big but looking at the villains stats i thought he would call any how......

didnt have a large sample of the villain but still he has a huge calling range also large pfr

from preflop was putting him on Ax hand...

Because of this, you should 3bet way bigger for pure value.

Look out though, you only have 45 hands on him, so the stats dont mean much right now.

Like T already said before such opponents are perfect targets for big value 3-bets as they will call all kinds of worse hands preflop. So, the bigger the 3-bet the bigger your value.

Postflop, with a c-bet you mostly turn your hand into a bluff although you have the best hand very often, but that's still the best play because by doing so you avoid making a mistake and your c-bet is still +EV.

Once your c-bet is called and villain shows aggression(on the river) you can safely fold. Nice hand.

do i second barrel here... as people usually float the flop to see what the opponent does on the turn... or c/f was the correct option

I like the hand as played, meaning c/f turn. I don't expect opponents to be tricky in 3-bet pots, so when villain calls the c-bet and bets turn or river you are beaten close to 100% of the time.
